Rams smart. They saw the Swans news. 49ers arriving 1 week early might see a lot of 69ers
#Rams HC Sean McVay acknowledges they are leaving for Australia “later than most people expect” Their plan is to arrive in Melbourne 24 hours before their week 1 opener. The #49ers on the other hand will arrive a full week beforehand to acclimate.

Not measured in the July CPI - Canned beetroot shrinkflation @ALDIAustralia in the past week: Old aldi.com.au/product/new-seas… 61% beetroot, made in Aus New aldi.com.au/product/new-seas… 55% beetroot, made in China ‼️% less product, no more Aussie beetroot, same price ($1.25) ‼️

Finally a Q on why $WHC.AX needs to waste $94m of shareholder funds on buying $BRE.AX and $USAR during the FY and why that is better than retiring debt, buying back stock, or paying out divs (with franking credits). Rare Earth investments now worth $218m = 26.5c/sh

It's a joke that >100 $WHC.AX shareholders holding a total of 13,850 shares (ie each s/h avg 139 shares or ~$1050 worth each) or 0.0017% of the company is allowed to dictate & waste a company's time at an AGM Corps Act 249N should be amended to remove this 100 member threshold
$whc.ax Lol. 13,850 shares or 0.0017% of the company. Go pound sand you absolute clowns. Plant a tree. You have cost the company more than the total value of your shareholding by forcing a response here. Absolute clowns.🤡

Why managed funds are dying a slow death: other people sell, it causes large distributions to be paid out to remaining unit holders if there are large gains in sold assets, you get pissed off as you are on 47% tax rate, you sell, vicious cycle. MF dead. ETFs no problems.

11 months later and $VMM.AX has overtaken $MEI.AX in market cap with the majority of it via share price increase (as opposed to increase in the number of shares): $MEI: 11.5c --> 16.5c $VMM: 54c --> $3.71 Will probably be my last 10 bagger as I'll drift into the sunset soon🏖️
Replying to @FFailings
$MEI no PFS yet. Market Cap = AUD280m $VMM Market Cap = AUD47m How is this not a long/short opportunity?

If ALP restricted the negative gearing + CGT changes to established residential property only (and not businesses + shares), framed it as "helping younger generations get into property" then it would have been easy to sell & generally applauded even if there was a broken promise

Asked if he supported the move to axe the 50% discount on capital gains & return to the pre'99 inflation indexation of CG for all assets, Comyn drew a distinction between “passive” investment, such as in resi property, & productive investment in businesses afr.com/policy/tax-and-super…

Matt Latimore planning a comeback to the ASX with a graphite + vanadium play - $LEL.AX shareholders to own 1/3 of Matt's new company "MBM" (via a 1:~4 inspecie distribution) = ~12.5c/share - $LEL also holds ~50c/share in cash and currently trading at 33c/share

it puzzles me that $WA1.AX #wa1 still cannot tell us if they are currently doing a SS/PFS/DFS, and if so, when they expect that to be complete, and other key timeline events such as when they expect to be in construction and then in production.

4½yrs after announcing a Feasibility Study on the Mt Lindsay Underground Tin-Tungsten deposit, $CRI.AX (formerly $VMS.AX) decides it will now do a lower level Scoping Study for the same deposit.

Some politicians are repeating the "oil/gas companies don't pay any/very little tax" line incessantly & many people are buying it. The official tax data for 2023-24 shows this isn't the case. Go look at the data yourself & make up your own mind: data.gov.au/data/dataset/cor…

After taking 17mo to rule that an exploration permit was invalid coz the mining regulator didnt publish the permit application in the local newspaper, the world's best mining jurisdiction as awarded by @FraserInstitute , Finland, will now take another 18mo to hear the appeal
Replying to @ChuckChunder007
Pretty sure @FraserInstitute will be sending Finland back down the list next year Courts taking 17 months to rule that an exploration permit is invalid because the mining regulator didn't publish the exploration permit application in local newspapers WTF fraserinstitute.org/studies/…

$SRK.AX claims its Aprumiac Iron Ore project is 100% owned, neatly forgetting its previous announcement 3 weeks ago that said it sold another minority stake in its Apurimac Iron Ore Project which reduced its holding to 51.48%

Haven't followed #tin and #tungsten for a few years but this project (now owned by $CRI.AX following name change) came to mind.... BFS done in 2012 when Tin was at US24k and Tungsten US392 and used AUD/USD 90c Current market cap <AUD80m
$VMS.AX Mt Lindsay tin/tungsten project went through a BFS in 2012 which was done at AUD/USD 90c vs 78c now Currently exploring strategies to optimise higher grade portions of the resource
