The Wasteland Jamboree held in Sutton West Virginia reminded us of what this community is all about.
Through our Wasteland Survivor Stories booth, we had the chance to meet so many of you—hearing your character stories, your personal connections to Fallout, and the passion that keeps this world alive. It was more than a meet and greet. It was connection. It was storytelling. It was community.
We captured some of those moments in a montage we’re proud to share. Thank you and the amazingly gracious folks of West Virginia for making it unforgettable and thank you to Fallout for Hope & Butter Popcorn for putting together an event that will be remembered forever.

Live from Universal Orlando Resort we announced the end of #FalloutForHope, but from its ashes something new. We are merging into a new 501C3 as part of @GCXEvent.
To guide us, there was only one person who could serve as both mentor and navigator:
Pete Hines @DCDeacon joins us Board Chair.
Noah Downs @MyLawyerFriend also joins as Board Member and legal advisor, with legal services provided by Premack Rogers Downs P.C.
New team members and roles:
Kenneth Vigue serves as Executive Director
Kevin Murray joins us as Chief Financial Officer

@WesJohnsonVoice joins as Advisor
Michael Bugg joins as Director of Special Events

This new hybrid model comprised of the fundraising vision that GCX has cultivated over 11 years, will allow us to not just shape the future and help others in one fandom: but ANY fandom.
Final paperwork is being concluded with our new name and branding, but our mission remains unchanged.
We return in 2027.

We've been fortunate enough to watch it grow from the very beginning. What started as a shared love for Fallout became something far greater—a community built on kindness, generosity, and the belief that gaming can genuinely make a difference in people's lives.

The final run...
The components of the #FalloutForHope booth have been permanently gifted to @GCXEvent to serve as gateway to the Fallout community space. The Fallout For Hope pull-up banner and the backdrop are permanently retired.
For our final fundraiser as we were, you all raised $16,864.01 for the @alzassociation, part of the over $74k raised for charity during #GCX2026. A massive chunk of which came from @kinggathcreates and his amazing team of collaborative modders assisting @WesJohnsonVoice.
While on vacation, thousands of gamers, creators and streamers saved some money to give in the name of others. That's pretty amazing.

Today, the Responders are issuing a new requisition request. Our medical teams are running dangerously low on IV Bags, and every shipment could mean the difference between life and death for those trying to survive another day in the wasteland.

Can't say we'd recommend importing Toxic Goo or "fresh" corpsemeats into Appalachia, but we've learned long ago that telling Raiders what not to do usually just gives them new ideas.
Just try not to spill any of that cargo near a settlement. The last thing our crews need is another mysterious outbreak, glowing livestock, or a two-headed possum claiming squatter's rights.
Safe travels, Raiders. If that rig breaks down, we'll be there.
If it explodes... we'll be there too.
