My personal feelings on BlueCo and management of the club are these:
1) Winstanley and Eghbali CANNOT continue interfering in team selections. This is part of a culture of protecting player values over results and its acutely damaging to the club's status and success.
Basic football IQ can see that Enzo Fernandez in a midfield two categorically does not work. Maresca doesnt see it, because hes a dreadful manager.
I wasn’t at Forest today as I’m looking after my kids, but in Leipzig the other night I asked Maresca about the exact situation that led to the third goal (and similar to the second)- Fernandez being high/wide and Anderson moving out to get on the ball. If the ball/duel is lost, there’s big space for opponents to break into. Maresca said individual mistakes were leading to goals, not that specific scenario. I asked if it led to the games being open/end-to-end and he said he would assess things in the international break. That stuff definitely needs addressing as the midfield is often far too open. Mistakes still a big factor too of course. Terrible combination at the moment
95mins of PL football so far this weekend. Just the four clear @prorefofficial errors. Ruining the game.
My take on Tuchel and Palmer is that not taking him to the WC was a disgrace when an injured Saka went but not picking him atm is reasonable. He needs to climb down a little and work harder. Making too many mistakes, careless on the ball and not yet working hard enough off it.
Have said it many times. Bluecos medical staff are failing. Our injury record in the last few years is an embarassment and totally disproportionate. The club cannot consider competing in European competitions until they have fixed it. Untenable.
Just amazes me how we are not in Europe, a full week off from games yet we still hear bad news in the press conferences each Friday regarding fitness & injuries.
Just a piss take how we are so marred by injuries every season even with less games than our rivals! 🤦🏻♂️ #CFC
The birth rate has collapsed in this country. IMO its why successive governments welcome rapid mass immigration despite many asking for it to be slowed. We're walking into a state pension crisis. And all because politicians refuse to make tough decisions to address cost of living
As a teacher, noticing more and more that critical thinking is bring drummed out of people. Obsession with exams means young people are hyper focused on right and wrong answers and have almost completely lost the art of critical thought and debate
Dusting off the protest boots...
Exclusive: Chelsea owner’s company resold Premier League tickets at inflated prices.
Tickets for matches for all PL clubs - apart from Chelsea - were offered by website but that access now removed after The Times contacted Clearlake.

This is the template. It was ropey first half but put Palmer with two ball winners in midfield and in time itll look v good.
We should be talking about Alonso's tactics. Got things wrong v Spurs, changed for Liverpool to 4-3-3 with Caicedo-Lavia-Henderson midfield, it was okay. Home to ManU kept same shape with Palmer-Caicedo-Lavia behind Estêvão-Neto-Rogers. Cole played midfield. It worked
@ChelseaFC
It is clear as day Ferrari decided months ago to prioritise Leclercs championship. So many decisions evidence it. Bizarre decision to sign him and position him as a number 2.

Arsenal are by far & away the best in the country
Top Keeper, Defenders who love defending, Midfielders doing the hard yards, strong in both boxes & don’t take risks
4-3-3. Same blueprint as 20 years ago. Nothing’s changed, despite football’s obsession with ‘playing out’ & data
Arsenal STILL getting away with fouls everyone else gets penalised for. Why @prorefofficial??

Fuck the Chelsea booing police. If I’ve paid 60 sheets for a ticket I’ll boo who I like. I’ll even boo the geezer next to me if I don’t like his face or he’s wearing shit trainers.
City fans already seeing what most of us saw too
At the beginning of the transfer window, we were all asking where exactly he was going to play, knowing fully well that we already had 2 AMs in Cherki and Foden.
We had just signed Bouaddi and Anderson, yet we went ahead and spent a whopping £125 million on him. Now that he’s in the team, we still don’t know what his best position is.
He’s horrible at DM, average on CM and at AM, he’s not obviously better than the options we already have.
Full time:
- Game couldve gone either way.
- Won by individual brilliance moments as is often the case in early days of managers
- Lavia incredible today
- Acheampong a nailed starter now
Half time:
- Alonso needs to tell Blueco where to go on Fofana. Think of the now and stop playing him
- Have to stop playing without a 9. It doesnt work
- Cole Palmer needs a massive rocket up his arse. Shit attitude, textbook Blueco over inflated ego with v little to back it atm
Re The Traitors. Yes, its a game. No, its not life or death. But its very real money being donated to very real charities in need and James Acaster screwed other peoples efforts to win that money for their charity because he couldnt say no to the 40k appearance fee. Twat.
