Should clarify. Of course ‘slow in, fast out’ has always been a thing, but I’m not talking about corner exits in terms of natural top speed down a straight. This is purposely holding back potential pace in qualifying laps so that drivers don’t lose lap time to battery deployment.
What a bizarre thing to think about, drivers having to purposely carry less speed through high speed corners just so they don’t get punished on straights with superclipping
These new cars have it completely backwards when it comes to qualifying, and it’s just sad to watch
250 characters wasn’t enough, but all this to say I agree haha

i think his career will turn out better than logans not bc hes an infinitely better driver or anything but bc caddy really fucking wants him in the car & it never really seemed like williams wanted logan. i think if he struggles that hell be given more room to figure it all out
The one thing that will be going for him if he is given a race seat next year is that Cadillac will be a very low pressure environment, and hopefully that will mean he can develop at a good pace
However, I don’t really believe it would be the wisest move to promote him so early
The fact modders were able to bring back F1 Championship Edition's (almost 20 year old game btw) spectator feature where you can watch AI drivers race each other before EA and Codemasters is frankly unbelievable nitter.cf/GOWENYT/status/2114816…
Oh.
Helmut Marko has invested in an AI venture which allows dead people to personally speak at their funerals
"This project is using very new technology, mainly AI. So it offers a very unique opportunity for the last will, and also the possibility that the one who died speaks personally at his funeral"

🚨BRIDGESTONE WANTS TO RETURN TO FORMULA 1 AS A TYRE SUPPLIER
Pirelli's current deal ends in 2028, so Bridgestone’s goal would be to return in 2029
It is understood that the Japanese company is preparing to return to F1 with a technological, business and commercial package that is stronger compared to its previous bid, which was already widely considered to be robust, giving Bridgestone a strong chance of being the next selected manufacturer

That is… quite a choice of words
Liberty Media CEO Derek Chang: "You no longer think about F1 as something that you've got to go to every race or watch every race on television to be a fan, right?" the-race.com/business/why-f1…
I wouldn't be surprised in the slightest if Kimi wins the title next race, and then the cancellation announcement is made the following day. He does deserve to have that moment on track instead of it being confirmed through a press release of all things.
Well a Mercedes driver is going to wrap up the title in Mexico, so there's that.
It's not going to be an overnight process ofc, but I do hope the communication between Tom and Max will get better in the coming rounds and eventually years where he's his engineer.
