Halloween is just around the corner. Be sure you're ready with your teal pumpkin- and watch for houses welcoming you with a teal pumpkin!
Teal Pumpkin Season is here, which means it’s time to make Halloween safer for every trick-or-treater! FARE’s Teal Pumpkin Project is a worldwide movement that helps make Halloween more inclusive for kids with food allergies and other conditions by encouraging families to offer non-food treats alongside candy. A teal pumpkin on your doorstep lets families know you have options like glow sticks, stickers, small toys, and other non-food goodies available. And this year, we’re taking the movement even further. We’re calling on advocates across the country to become Teal Pumpkin Project Captains and help bring the movement to their own communities. Captains can spread the word, rally neighbors, schools, and local organizations, and help turn more neighborhoods teal this Halloween. One teal pumpkin can make a difference. A whole community of them can transform Halloween! Learn more and add your home to the map here: foodallergy.org/tealpumpkinp…
