Sold Konsa, Benched Cala to fit in a ‘Defcon’ defender.
My ‘Defcon defender’ does not hit Defcon (finishing on 9), and then both Konsa and Cala do.

A healthy green arrow so far, but that is almost certain to change today. NO players left today, up against double and triple Arsenal defence
Hope somebody out there used my WC draft- sitting on 70 points with Gabriel and Isak still to play!
Pedro -> Jackson (same as everyone), Konsa -> Silva (riskier!)
Backing Gross over DCL away, Bou underlying defensive numbers better than MCI.
A lot of 50/50 calls, could be a very swingy week!

Since my actual WC in GW 5, this is the first draft to look significantly different- the template is changing!
My Saka replacement shortlist:
Palmer
Doku
Foden
Kroupi Jr
Manzambi
Palmer is the obvious one, but so template.
Man City mids high risk, high reward.
Kroupi and Manzambi players I want in future, could just get now and play Gross this week.

Tav seems popular this week.
But is anyone else worried that Kroupi Jr being back makes him a worse option?
Ahead of Tav in the penalty pecking order and early subs could become more frequent with another attacking option, especially as Kroupi Jr isn’t eligible for Europe.
The Saka injury is a massive kick in the teeth.
Was a real differential against early WC teams.
I don’t see who to get other than Palmer, but then its just the same triple Arsenal defence, triple Chelsea attack, De Cuyper, Gross, DCL team that everyone else has.
I’d be lying if I said watching Liverpool concede 3 times, knowing I plan to bench both Brighton assets this week, didn’t make me extremely nervous!
A decent TC haul and a big green arrow, I should be happy…
But…
I needed 4 points to win a decent chunk of money in a weekly cash league.
The exact amount of points Konsa outscored Muharemovic by, which was genuinely my only 50/50 this week.
Frustrating!
Looking at my 🚌 team and seeing both Gross and MDC on the bench is making me uneasy.
What would you change?
Really hope Van Hecke comes through tomorrow.
Making that transfer led to me benching Konsa, who I seen as 2 or 6 points, silly me.
