📌 How I finished 504th in the world in FPL
and the things I’ve learned since that I’m taking into 2026/27.
I definitely don’t have FPL figured out. I followed that season up with a terrible finish 😂
But looking back, there were a few things I did really well in 23/24 that I got away from afterwards.
With GW1 two days away, here are the main ones I’m trying to remember this season 👇

One more gameweek and I can say BYE to Gonzalo!
Does he get in ahead of anyone here?#FPL
Bizarre from Martinez, has really let the club and Carrick down today
If it wasn’t for the pen, you wouldn’t even know Palmer was on the pitch 🤣
Quick season check in after GW8

💰 £102.8m Team Value
A frustrating 43 points this week after the GW7 green, but still happy with the position.
Squad feels well set going forward too. Main things to monitor are Joao Pedro/Calafiori fitness and when the right time is to move on from Gonzalo.
Hopefully start pushing back towards the top 100k 🤞

Lots of discussion surrounding the template at the moment.
What could FPL do regarding different features, rules and pricing to help break the template and make it worthwhile to go for different picks? #FPL

Big money defence saved me this week!
A decent green arrow, onto the next 💪 #FPL
34 for anyone wondering, carried my team this week 🤣 #FPL
That defending is shocking from Newcastle
Manzambi could be the one …
Miss him from World Cup Fantasy 🥲 #FPL

Team looks solid. Decided to drop Hall in favour of Muharemovic #FPL
Wildcard 7 Draft 🚨
If I was on wildcard 7, this is what I would go for! #FPL
