“I have been humbled and deeply touched that so many people have taken to the streets to celebrate my Platinum Jubilee.”
As the #PlatinumJubilee weekend draws to a close, Her Majesty has sent a thank you message to all those who have marked her 70 years as Queen.

The annual remembrance event has taken place since 1924. Serving members were joined on parade by veterans from WW2 and more recent conflicts, and members of the Army Cadet Force @CCFcadets @HCav1660 @ChurchillsOwn @TheRoyalLancers @ArmdCavRDG – at London, England
Thousands of Combined Cavalry soldiers have paraded in Hyde Park in traditional bowlers, suits and regimental ties. HRH The Earl of Wessex, Colonel The Royal Wessex Yeomanry, took the salute. They remembered all those lost in service since WW1. @RoyalFamily @BritishArmy

#GettingReady is what @LNRACF adults have been doing for the last few weekends. Adults have been able to get back to Yardley Chase to refresh their skills so we can open detachments again. Whoop #Face2Face still got a few more weekends to do!!

Our adult volunteers were lucky enough to get a zoom session with Brigadier @StuWilliams_ and @ACFColCadets Col Riley to give updates on our return to training and a QnA session. We had 100 adults on the call. It was a great session and thanks to both for giving up their time.

Our brilliant Adult Volunteers are starting to plan for a safe return of face-to-face training and annual/summer camps. They will look different, but will no doubt still be full of action, fun and adventure. What is everyone most looking forward to? #GoingFurther. @ACFColCadets
