40°C in Paris. A Thursday evening. And still, people showed up to talk about AI. That was our first ever @cursor_ai × @AnthropicAI event, hosted by @SNCFVoyageurs and their Agentic Team at Ground Control. This would not have been possible without the crazy @OlivierLegris and @AlexCormeraie 🤙 When we started planning this a few weeks ago, the idea was simple: put the Cursor community and the Claude Code community in the same room and see what happens. Exactly what you'd hope for when you put builders in a room together. Thanks to: → Everyone who chose this over air conditioning 🥵 → Benjamin and Paul Dumaitre for their energy, talks and support → @DamienWattez for being the connective tissue behind the scenes → Olivier and Laetitia on the Anthropic side → @cdriclion and Jérôme for their talks → @benln, @sunrao, @ftnabeelah for the continuous support If you're building with Cursor in Europe, you know where to find me.

6 months ago a friend sent 347 applications. 4 interviews. 0 offers. i got him a referral with ONE cold email. offer 3 weeks later. people who get hired don't apply harder. they reach the right person. so i built poerAI. v1: 326 users. 100+ paid. a signal. so i rebuilt it from scratch: → finds roles on autopilot 🤯 → finds the people behind them → verified emails (+100 providers), pay what you get → sends from your own mailbox (gmail/outlook) → reply and track everything in one place building 100% in public. every number, every mistake. launching nov 16 👇

the most comprehensive breakdown I’ve read on X of @AnthropicAI 's S-1 ahead of its IPO. a must-read for anyone interested in tech and finance.

The single best predictor of whether a founder will make it is resilience. I've been building companies for over a decade and most of them failed. But the founders who make it all share the same trait my mentor Travis Kalanick called "champion's heart." Here are the 6 signals: (1) A long track record of failure. They've shipped products that went nowhere and started companies that fell apart, and each failure imprinted a lesson no one else could teach them. Success barely teaches you anything. Failure rewires you. (2) They get back up every time. When a launch flops or the internet hate piles up, they can find the one piece of criticism that's true, act on it, and ignore the rest. This is an unstoppable character trait. (3) Built in flow, not for applause. Eventually they stop caring what the crowd thinks and start building purely because it feels right. The best ideas arrive once you let go of the outcome. (4) Customer obsessed. They don't guess what people want and they're not emotionally tied to their creation. Power users are your light at the end of the tunnel. (5) They turn their worst constraints into their edge. Any hurdle you face is a test to see if you're disciplined enough to overcome it. There's a solution to every problem. (6) Building is their way of life. It was never about the cash grab, they fell in love with the journey itself, and revenue is their scoreboard. Resilience is the one thing you can't fake or outsource. Everything else is learnable.

this is so true. a lot of the move is priced in (stocks) already. but there are still areas of expansion. not financial advice.
This is my thesis: no one uses AI. I repeat, absolutely no one. We live in a bubble. Even among my friends who pay for it, when I ask them to open ChatGPT and show me their queries, it’s the same handful of basic things. Most don’t even know they can upload a photo and ask questions about it. Connecting Gmail so an agent can read and send emails blows their minds. An agent opening a browser and checking them into a flight? They’ve never even heard of it. The massive challenge right now is adoption, and then getting people who already signed up to actually use what they’re paying for. Most have absolutely zero clue what’s possible. Imagine the compute shortage when everyone starts using AI like the top 1% of users do today.

We believe that the future is code + AI, so made workflow evals to reflect that Jev costs: $42 / BILLION input tokens ($0.042 / MTok) and output tokens are free (forever - they’re too cheap to meter with our new architecture) Jev is named after Jevons paradox and off the intelligence per $ charts

Introducing Projects, a new way of working in Cursor. Rather than creating a chat for every task, you work with a coordinator agent in a single, persistent thread. Like @bot, your agent is always on, proactively manages work with subagents, and improves over time.

Cursor is now part of @SpaceX. Today, we have officially closed our acquisition. We will join the @spacexai team to help make Grok the world's most useful AI and improve Grok Build, Grok Bot, Grok API, Cursor, and more. SpaceX has built some of the most inspiring and impressive technology in the world, and we’re grateful for the opportunity to become part of such a special company. Onwards.

Excited to release Grok 4.5 with @spacexai. It's an Opus-class model that's fast and low cost. It's a significant step up over any model we've developed so far, including Composer 2.5, and has become the daily driver for many on our team. First of many releases. More soon.
We've partnered with SpaceXAI to train Grok 4.5. It’s our most powerful model yet and the first we've built for more than software engineering.

Here’s your monthly reminder that you shouldn’t be prompting coding agents anymore. You should be designing loops that prompt your agents.
