𝐅𝐚𝐜𝐭 𝐂𝐡𝐞𝐜𝐤 | 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐈𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 & 𝐁𝐫𝐨𝐚𝐝𝐜𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 ◼️ Afghan Taliban regime’s latest fabrication of lies on Angoor Adda border incident again confirms their deceitful character. Fact of the matter is that their cowardly forces initiated unprovoked fire and mortar shelling on unarmed civilians on Pakistani side, following pattern and instructions of their proxy masters India. ◼️ Immediate, effective and disproportionate response by our brave and proud security forces not only silenced their guns but inflicted heavy casualties to their men in addition to material losses including destruction of seven posts. ◼️ Such lies of Taliban regime so called official spokespersons carry no value and are part of a litany of fabricated stories that they keep on telling, mostly to their own people suffering under their imposed and non representative regime. *𝐅𝐚𝐜𝐭 𝐂𝐡𝐞𝐜𝐤 | 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐈𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 & 𝐁𝐫𝐨𝐚𝐝𝐜𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠* ◾️ Pakistan categorically rejects the baseless and misleading allegations by Zalmay Khalilzad of arming former Afghans to fight Taliban and their supporters terrorist groups. His sweeping baseless assertions merely recycle speculative narratives as part of his personal agenda to prop terrorism supporting Taliban regime. ◾️ It is particularly misleading to conflate Pakistan's legitimate counterterrorism operations against terrorist organisations operating from inside Afghan Taliban regime controlled areas threatening its citizens with allegations of recruiting Afghan nationals or sponsoring armed groups inside Afghanistan. Pakistan remains at the forefront of the fight against terrorism and has made enormous sacrifices in protecting regional peace and security. ◾️ Successive UN monitoring reports have documented the continued presence and activities of terrorist organisations, including TTP and Al-Qaeda, inside Afghanistan. Khalilzad's allegations conveniently divert attention from the Afghan Taliban regime's responsibility to prevent its territory from being used by Indian sponsored proxies for terrorism against Pakistan. ◾️Mr Khalilzad paddling of such unsubstantiated allegations only expose his skewed agenda based views. 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐈𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 & 𝐁𝐫𝐨𝐚𝐝𝐜𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 — 𝐅𝐚𝐜𝐭 𝐂𝐡𝐞𝐜𝐤 Claim: An officer of the Pakistan Army passed away due to a heart attack during the ongoing Pakistan–Sri Lanka cricket match at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. Fact ▪️The individual is a Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) employee. He was not present at the stadium during the match and had no involvement in the event. He suffered electric shock following which his family contacted Rescue 1122 and he was shifted to local hospital. ▪️Cause of death as per hospital record has been identified as “electrocution”. Further inquiry will proceed as per procedure. ▪️Linking this medical emergency to the cricket match is misleading. The individual’s employment with the PCB does not establish any connection between the incident and the ongoing match. The public is urged to verify facts before sharing misleading claims.

𝐅𝐚𝐜𝐭 𝐂𝐡𝐞𝐜𝐤 | 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐈𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 & 𝐁𝐫𝐨𝐚𝐝𝐜𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 ◼️ Fabricated propaganda by a North America based account and questingly proliferated further, that the US Navy is somehow operating from Pakistani territory against Iran, with alleged Pakistani approval, is baseless and part of wider agenda of sowing confusion, misperceptions and chaos. ◼️ Such social media posts actually deserve no attention by any serious minded observer and need to be categorised and treated as propaganda only. 𝐅𝐚𝐜𝐭 𝐂𝐡𝐞𝐜𝐤 | 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐈𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 & 𝐁𝐫𝐨𝐚𝐝𝐜𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 ◼️ Mischievous social media handles are circulating misleading claims of fabricated unrest in KP, using AI-generated visuals, old footage and unrelated videos. ◼️ The circulated material includes like factory fires, protests over load shedding and footages from Syria etc; all mis-captioned to manufacture an impression of chaos. ◼️ Afghan and Indian accounts are also amplifying this narrative in coord with vested political accounts, which further confirms a coordinated foreign driven propaganda. International Media houses are again asked to avoid speculative reporting with regards to employment of Pakistan's Military Forces under Makkah Joint Defence Agreement. ▪️ Details of any employment, if necessary will be given by concerned authorities. Queries if any may be referred to them instead of coming out with invented numbers and details.

These containers have been placed as a precaution in Islamabad in compliance with the Honourable Islamabad High Court’s directions to protect citizens’ life, property and lawful movement. The preventive security measures seek to safeguard public infrastructure and sensitive installations keeping in view the past violent practices of the instance party. ◼️ As expected, Al Jazeera selectively portrayed these measures as “road blockades,” ignoring the facts that all roads are open and the preventive judicial and security context related to State’s responsibility to maintain public order. ◼️ Such angled reporting purposefully creates a misleading and negative impression. Afghan Taliban unfortunately remain willingly oblivious to their unislamic abetment of terror, acting as proxy to Hindutva design for sake of greed of few of their leaders.
