Wanting there to be more recognition for the impact ME/CFS has on peoples lives, hoping that better support will be provided.

ME/CFS ist eine schwere Erkrankung, die lange unterschätzt wurde. Viele Betroffene kämpfen um Anerkennung und medizinische Unterstützung. Wir nehmen ihre Anliegen ernst und handeln.

My parents are nearing 70—said with respect, not ageism. They continue to run our family business while facing health challenges of their own and the devastation ME/CFS has brought to half our family. Much of the next generation is prevented by the disease from sharing that responsibility. Despite all that, today they are at two separate events in service of the cause: my father at Vienna City Hall with Mayor Michael Ludwig and WWTF President Michael Häupl, discussing research and care; my mother at CS Caritas Socialis’s first ME/CFS specialist conference at Schönbrunn. Given everything they carry, the energy they devote to this cause is immense, almost worryingly so. I have enormous respect for their commitment and am deeply grateful. 💙🙏

Abandonment issues often begin in childhood due to traumatic loss. It is not considered a mental health condition, but the resulting anxiety can ruin a person’s life and relationship. This article focuses on abandonment and how to heal from its effects. buff.ly/3cx0Jbh

#Water taken for granted today but as our populations swell it increasingly becomes a scarce resource which enables government & corporations to put a price on it no longer a human right, it becomes a marketable commodity do we really want that to happen? #LiveWithinLimits

Japan just built a plastic that vanishes in the ocean within hours. No slow crumble. It just goes, and it leaves zero microplastics behind. The breakthrough came out of RIKEN and the University of Tokyo, where chemist Takuzo Aida led the team. Their material is strong enough to do the work of regular plastic, yet seawater pulls it apart in a matter of hours. The findings were published in Science. Then it gets better. Bury it in soil and it breaks down in roughly ten days, releasing nitrogen and phosphorus the way fertilizer would. Microplastics have already made it into the food on your plate. This stuff would rather feed the ground than poison it. Source: RIKEN Center for Emergent Matter Science press release; RIKEN, University of Tokyo, Science, Reuters

While Julia Gillard was giving her infamous “misogyny speech”, her government was removing the definition of the word “woman” in the only piece of legislation enacted in Australia to give women rights on the basis of being women, paving the way for men to be women in law.

Sall isn't giving up the fight, not even a little bit, but it's time for a change of tactics. Sall Grover has been fighting not only for women's rights... but for all our rights, and well... it's been a tough fight. The Legal pathways are now exhausted, but that's not the end of the fight, it's the start of a new phase, where the fight becomes political rather than legal. Sall joins me on The Topher Project to bring me up to speed. The Albanese Government is the most secretive federal government we've had in decades. It protects lobbyists, keeps ministerial diaries closed, and has repeatedly made FoI requests more challenging and more expensive. We need to put a stop to the bully boy tactics the Albanese Government is using in the courts, by threatening those seeking transparency with massive legal costs. We have to support those who are looking to hold the government to account for its spending and its decision-making. theage.com.au/politics/feder…

Any problems linked to the end of mass immigration are trivial, ... in comparison to the problems linked to retaining it. Let's get on with the challenge of running an economy & a nation, with a more or less stabilised population. population.org.au/sign-the-s…
