In past crises, I watched longtime Pudgy holders encourage each other, stand behind @LucaNetz and the team, and hold on together. That unity was an important part of Pudgy’s strength. Pudgy’s own 2022 recap acknowledged how important the community had been to its success.
What worries me now is more than the falling floor price. Some of the people who once defended the team are now questioning their own trust in it. I am one of them.
A united community cannot guarantee a price floor. But losing the reasons to stand together through difficult times is a different problem.
Can the @pudgypenguins come together again? I still hope so. For that to happen, the team needs to give its disappointed supporters a reason to believe again.

토큰2049에서 해당 공지와 댓글을 보고 내 생각이 이상한건가 의심했음. 이리저리 물어봤지만, 반응은 나와 다름없더라.
매우 실망했고, IGLOO의 전체 사업에 대한 믿음이 떨어졌음.
적어도 내가 한국에서 본 앱스트랙트 러버 몇명은 파머로 치부되기엔 너무나 열정적이었고, 애정이 남달랐음. 그런데 그 사람들한테도 체인이 닫히기 전까지 잘 될거야라고 속이고 다닌 모양이더라.
실패한 스타트업과 러그풀은 다르다고 하는데, XP라는 이름 하에 발생한 피해는 여타 러그풀 피해와 다르지 않음.
그렇다면? 남겨둔 사업체를 가진 입장에서 적어도 비판을 겸허히 받아들이고, 모두에게 친절하고 따뜻해야 하지 않을까?
디스코드 내용들 보니까 전혀 그래보이지 않았음. 하락장을 긍정적인 바이브로 견뎌내던 지난 펭구의 바이브는 이제 펭구 가면을 써야만 허용이 되나봄.
나에겐 의미 있는 PFP이기에 바꿀 일은 없겠다만, 이제 펭구에 대한 컨빅션은 거의 없을 것 같음.

I don't have any negative feelings towards people that are repping Pudgy PFPs but I personally can't look at Penguins the same way as I used to before.
I found out about @pudgypenguins through @AbstractChain.
With a sudden shut down of Abstract after promising so many different things by @LucaNetz I feel really disappointed and quite frankly betrayed on how things went down.
Just a sorry on an X space isn't enough to be held accountable for all the promises that were made.
Every single thing that was said by Luca ended up being a lie regarding Abstract. (streamers will make millions, 20-30bil FDV, XP distro directly translates into airdrop, and countless other claims..)
The amount of betrayal I have been feeling after the time and money spent on Abstract is immeasurable.
Trust is a very fragile thing to earn back once broken.

What about the people that stayed and used abstract after the honeymoon phase was over?
Why is there a measurable XP allocation every Tuesday?
Why does Abstract Team encourage the community to post about their XP that they gained every Tuesday?
Why pubically make promises of TGE and financial rewards for badges, XP, and roles (Gigachad / Quant)?
Collectively the Abstract community has spent Millions of dollars supporting Gambling apps and rugpull projects directly promoted by Abstract team members to earn badges and XP.
Being lied to by entire Abstract team members, being assured that Abstract is not sunsetting and not being sold after the community had doubts since last year is another thing.
A big majority of Abstract power users are from China and Korea and a lot of them did not take the new of Abstract sunsetting very well.
The only thing I can talk positively is the amazing people I met through Abstract and the different type of communities I joined.
Just sunsetting Abstract and moving on like nothing happened is a really bad look on Luca and Igloo as a whole.
After this post I will move on to bigger and better things but just had to say what I truly felt and thought about the whole situation.

거의 끝날때쯤 도착해서 굿즈가 많이 나간게 아쉽긴하지만 그래도 귀여운게 남아있긴해서 다행이었어요

Got there near closing, so a lot of the merch was already gone, but luckily some cute goodies were still left hehe.
Tangem (hardware wallets), Sway (narrative trading), Rice Robotics (AI robots), and Bitkub (a Thai crypto exchange) were there with Pudgy Penguins too!
So happy I got to chat with new friends—and meet the legend Apple!! 🤯 The Sway team was really sweet, and I even came home with a cute hat 🧢
