This is unacceptable! What are fans supposed to do?? You can't trust Ticketmaster, but Ticketmaster has a monopoly on live events.

HB684, an act "relative to the sale of admission tickets", passed! Thank you @RepPaulaDavis, @RickWardLA and @LouisianaGov for putting fans first in Louisiana!

Just another example of how concerts are rigged against fans. Even if tickets are refunded, that doesn't cover the cost of time off, travel, lodging, etc.

I don’t know who Eric Church is but he straight up canceled his show this weekend in Texas to go watch UNC in the Final Four by sending an email message through Ticketmaster to fans with tickets and they are rightfully pissed

😂 holy fuck, what a douchebag move by Eric Church. Dude cancelled his show Saturday so he can go to the UNC/Duke game. People likely had flights, hotels, and whatever else that isn't refundable booked. Really hoping he sees half empty venues from here on out. #Douchebag
Did you see John Oliver's commentary on the live ticketing industry? He provided some good insight, but it's important to keep his remarks in context. Check out what Fan Freedom President Chris VanDeHoef had to say: newsroom.fanfreedom.org/resp…

FANS DESERVE BETTER. To the mass disappoint of the #BTSARMY, the Txxketmxxter monopoly strikes again.
A rapid sellout of @BTS_twt Las Vegas tickets through "Verified Fan" didn't seem to keep a huge portion of the tickets being listed for resale. ticketnews.com/2022/03/bts-v…
It's no secret. Fans don't trust Ticketmaster.

“If you want to resell your ticket, if you want to transfer your ticket, should someone be able to say, ‘You can only do it here’? Or should you be able to do it however you want?” Fine said. “I think this bill looks out for the little guy.”

If we’re going to see a boom in new venues across the country, we need to fix the broken ticketing market. Facilities, many of which receive our tax dollars, are useless if we don’t put fans first.

These trends of teams restricting tickets during the playoffs are concerning. Not good for fans.
