As an ao3 author, here's my take on the strange discourse going around about stories being shared on drives:
I wrote it for free, I put it on the internet for free, I assumed that meant people were reading, sharing, and downloading for free
If I published a book, my expectation

ao3 become mainstream is really a mistake bcs why everybody acting like they just born yesterday everytime talking about fanfic
i wonder what happened to writing fics just for the love of the game
for now a 7/10 for me, i don't feel satisfied honestly, there's so many questions i have and the story's flow was....bad. the plot and overall story with all it's twists and character profiling was amazing tho, along with the art but it doesn't quite scratch the itch tbvh ://

nobody is addicted, its obviously an inconvenience, it’s like when tiktok is down, there are worse things but ppl are allowed to complain
relax, this cannot be your first time on the internet to be nitpicking others' behaviour this much. if you don't understand but care to judge, maybe just stay out of the fandom space altogether, since very clearly, it's not for you.
ngl i can't follow his thought process cuz what the hell is he babbling about 😭 also imagine doha hearing him say this sht, he won't even need a reason to commit murder at this point
