4/5F used @WhiteboardFi to display our thoughts on division. Arrays, word problems, grouping, place value, repeated + & - , number lines, we had it all! Amazing work grade 4/5! @GEVSchool
We got smiles, they're multiplying! Lots of happy faces today in 4/5F when we received our half-mathalon flag from @knowledgehook !! I'm incredibly proud of the math minds in this class. Way to go! @GEVSchool

Today 4/5F explored @PhETsims to help us understand area models for 2 digit by 2 digit multiplication. MQ said using whole numbers makes it easy! @GEVSchool @gecdsbpro @shelpike
Today 4/5F used live whiteboards to visualize and represent fractions from a word problem! "If there are two 1/8's that is 2/8, there are 6 pieces left." @GEVSchool @shelpike @DarinTeach

When discussing light and sound during science, NB wondered aloud, "I wonder if bioluminescence would be considered natural". I just love hearing these scientific minds at work in 4/5F @GEVSchool @gecdsbpro
