45 points. 10 assists. And somehow that wasn't the only big performance. 🤯
Some moments are just unforgettable. Caitlin Clark put together a career night, while Kelsey Mitchell dropped 30 of her own. Imagine that.

Bounce back year for Clark after an injury-plagued 2025. She proved that she can do it without riding the momentum of her collegiate career.
I see her scoring and efficiency continuing to rise in the coming year. She added a turnaround middy to her arsenal this season. Her playmaking will always be there.
Things as a coach is like to see her improve upon:
• Tighter handles
I think her balk handling is actually a bit underrated. What I mean by “tighter handles” is the carelessness she displays on occasion when letting the offense develop. She has a tendency to lose focus on the defender right in front of her and it costs her sometimes.
• Strength
This was a topic of discussion after her rookie season. She got stronger, then she got injured. I think that made some people question if the added muscle contributed to the injury problems. I do not think that. I think she can still add strength and remain healthy. She needs to be more physical offensively and defensively. She takes punishment and needs to be able to dish it while sustaining that throughout a season. Durability is not predicated on muscle mass.
• Off-ball cutting
She’s somewhat handcuffed in this area by the offense they run, but I would love to see more basket cuts, running off screens, setting defenders up. I think adding this to her game will free her up with the ball. Teams will often face guard her, so this could be a way to release some of that pressure.
• Decision-Making Consistency
I want to be careful here. One thing that makes her great and unique is her ability to see things others can’t. She makes plays that most players could never make. I saw small improvements this year on risk-taking, but just being more consistent with that would be an improvement.
Just my two cents 🪙

always love when people write about her in this way and talk about her like the 24 year old she is.
From @TheAthletic: Everywhere Caitlin Clark goes, the spectacle follows. Seemingly every move becomes a headline. Amid the constant attention and expectations, Clark is trying to hold on to the joy that made people want to watch her in the first place. nyti.ms/3VPm7yE

For everything people project onto Caitlin, I love how simple what SHE actually wants seems to be.
She wants to hoop, bring people together & leave an impact on the people watching her… and then go home and tend to her tomatoes.
How is she not incredibly endearing? 🥹
Can Caitlin Clark just play basketball?
Over 15 days in five cities, and one phone call about her garden, I tried to find out.
