I think people are misreading why Six Flags bought Arie due to their unnecessarily huge PR marketing for it to please shareholders
They bought it for the same reason they bought Siren & Flash, an apology coaster that they can slot into any park that needs a PR boost
Yes, your home park may “need” it more in their lineup, but the bigger picture is what parks need to be doing better for their size
Magic Mountain is one of those parks
While I wish this was closer to home, MM needs a significant push to where it should be especially after the X2 incidents
BREAKING: ArieForce One is heading to California! Six Flags Magic Mountain has acquired the legendary roller coaster, which will be trucked across the country after its 3-year run at Fun Spot Atlanta.

JUST IN: Six Flags says they will be adding seat belts to Goliath at Six Flags Over Georgia, and “other coasters with a similar restraint,” after the fatal incident a few weeks ago.
Six Flags has confirmed that the following roller coasters will be receiving the added safety belts:
- Goliath at Six Flags Over Georgia
- Raging Bull at Six Flags Great America
- Nitro at Six Flags Great Adventure
When asked for a timetable on when the safety belts could be installed, Six Flags provided this statement:
“The timing may vary by attraction based on the reviews, engineering requirements, availability of components and applicable approval processes. We will not reopen an affected attraction until the necessary work and reviews associated with that ride have been completed. We will provide park-specific updates as information becomes available.”
