Huge thanks go to Swineshead for hosting the game, normal service has now resumed at Freiston with the home cricket season concluding this weekend!

We were knocked out of the PJP Foodservice Fishtoft Cup yesterday, losing out to Woodhall Spa 5-1, with our goal coming from Jordan Cobb who also destroyed a sock during the game 🤦🏼♀️🧦😂
We have our first cup match of the new season tomorrow 🏆
Having been drawn at home to Woodhall Spa in the Fishtoft Cup they kindly agreed to reverse the fixture as our pitch isn’t available due the cricket club still having a few more home games on their calendar 🏏⚽️
Well that wasn’t on our start to the season bingo card!
The game looked promising as we went into the second half 2-1 down which soon became 2-2 just after the kick off but Burgh capitalised on our weaknesses for the next 40 minutes with a high scoring win!

Today’s the day!!! 💚⚽️
It’s the second instalment of the ‘old goats’ taking on the current squad in the most anticipated game of the season! 🐐
There will be cold refreshments on sale during the afternoon with all monies raised being split between the club, our ‘old goat’, David Whalley, who’s been raising money for the Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital for the past 18 months…..
Yesterday we took part in the Arthur Young Challenge Cup, organised by Old Leake FC, it was all square at 3-3 after the 90 minutes, with our goals coming from Michael Reeson, so the trophy is shared again between the two clubs for another 6 months each!
