റിയൽ എസ്റ്റേറ്റ് മേഖലയിലെ വീട് വാങ്ങുന്നവരുടെ അവകാശങ്ങൾ കൂടുതൽ ശക്തമായി സംരക്ഷിക്കുന്നതിനായി റിയൽ എസ്റ്റേറ്റ് (റെഗുലേഷൻ ആൻഡ് ഡെവലപ്മെന്റ്) നിയമമായ RERA പുനഃസംഘടിപ്പിക്കണമെന്ന് ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ട് പ്രധാനമന്ത്രിക്ക് നിവേദനം നൽകി. ഫോറം ഫോർ പീപ്പിൾസ് കളക്ടീവ് എഫേർട്സ് (FPCE) ആണ് പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി നരേന്ദ്ര മോദിക്ക് നിവേദനം നൽകിയത്. നിലവിലെ നിയമത്തിൽ ഉപഭോക്തൃ സംരക്ഷണത്തിനും റിയൽ എസ്റ്റേറ്റ് മേഖലയിലെ വികസനത്തിനും ഒരുപോലെ പ്രാധാന്യം നൽകുന്നത് വീട് വാങ്ങുന്നവരുടെ താൽപര്യങ്ങൾക്ക് തിരിച്ചടിയാകുന്നുവെന്നാണ് സംഘടനയുടെ വിലയിരുത്തൽ.
The Forum for People's Collective Efforts (FPCE) has submitted a memorandum to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, seeking a restructuring of the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act (RERA) to strengthen the protection of homebuyers' rights. The organisation believes that giving equal importance to consumer protection and the development of the real estate sector under the existing law has adversely affected the interests of homebuyers.
