But why would people be offended by Ravana being portrayed as an evil, ruthless demon? People have already watched Ramanand Sagar’s Ramayan, where Ravana literally abducts Mata Sita by force. Go and see for yourself how that scene was portrayed!
The truth is, they wanted to give Ravana a softer portrayal, and that’s exactly why they butchered one of the most important scenes. 🤡

It is becoming increasingly clear that your concern is not for the victims or their families, but that you're using a horrific tragedy as a dirty excuse to settle your personal scores.
This is especially directed at those failed frustrated jobless male/female actors, few directors, producers & parasites, who suddenly appoint themselves as social reformers whenever an opportunity arises to take a dig at someone else's work.
A tragedy deserves empathy 🙏, not opportunism. Learn the difference.

The real drama behind “Kambakkht Ishq” wasn’t on screen.
While newcomer Sabbir Khan was adapting the Tamil comedy “Pammal K. Sambandam”, Akshay Kumar had reportedly grown obsessed with Kareena Kapoor after “Tashan”.
Kareena saw him as a good friend and was getting closer to Saif. Akshay allegedly used his influence over the debutant director to demand more romance, insisting slapstick alone wouldn’t work. When Sabbir said the script already had romantic scenes, Akshay pushed harder - for lip-locks. That’s how the church kiss and other intimate moments made it in.
The shocking part? Kareena was allegedly told about these changes very late. She was upset and had a heated argument with Sabbir before the team convinced her the scenes would be filmed tastefully.
A source claimed Akshay’s demands damaged the original comic storyline. Saif was reportedly shocked by the kissing scenes. Censors later cut the mouth-to-mouth CPR and several kisses.
