Wise Words Wednesday🧐 "If you really want to be a champion, then the work is no problem." Success does not happen by accident. It happens from doing a little a lot. What work are you putting in today to be a champion tomorrow?

Mindful Minute Monday🧠🧘‍♂️ Celebrate wins! Everyone watched the @Brewers celebrate winning the WS and watch @GopherFootball coach PJ Fleck crowd surf his teams after wins. Why do they celebrate so much? They celebrate because of all of the little wins that led to the big win!

Practice Plan Friday! As the weather begins to get colder and the leaves are changing color🍁, indoor practices are just around the corner. With indoor practices, there tends to be a lot of standing around. Not with Shadow At-Bat Off A Machine though! youtu.be/_Ngiarp9rzk

Wise Words Wednesday🧐 "You, me , or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain't about how hard ya hit. It's about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. How much can you take and keep moving forward. That's how winning is done!" -Rocky @RaysBaseball @Brewers

Mindful Minute Monday🧠🧘‍♂️ Have you ever had that feeling that the world is speeding up around you and you can't slow it down? Do simple tasks, become almost impossible to do? Well when your anxiety goes up⬆️, your working memory goes down⬇️ about 15-20%!

Parents see this in their children, when the children can't complete basic tasks like brushing their teeth. Teachers see it with students saying, "I don't know," even when they do know. Athletes make a mistake or freeze in the moment.

How do you counteract that? Take a deep breath in and do a long exhale out. The longer your exhale, the more you slow down your heart rate. The more you slow down your heart rate, the more that the world won't feel like it is speeding up on you.

Practice Plan Friday! Want to keep your players on the bench sharp and locked in 🔒 to the game? Have the bench players do shadow at-bats during the game. They might not be able to get the physical reps, but they can get the mental 🧠 reps! youtu.be/A-gUAunnKgo

When the Brewers were behind in those games, they stuck to the process and played their form of baseball. Instead of "rising to the occasion," they sunk to their level of training. This level of training allowed them to play their type of game and not lose their identity.

It is important in the big moments and the small moments to have something to go back to when the garbage hits the fan. The Brewers responded in a way during this series which allowed them to sweep the Dodgers and advance to the @MLB World Series.
