PACKED UP (REMIX)
I like the original song by AZ Chike & Hit-Boy and had to throw some bars on it. The image I used is a picture of Robert F. Williams and the Black Armed Guard in Monroe, NC — a group that organized a rifle club to protect their community from Klan attacks.

i will keep raising this issue until it is addressed and corrected (i might be at it awhile). but @CommunityMvt @Blacks4Peace did y’all vet BMB before including them in the organizing of the conference? is millions in Ford/Soros/etc funding acceptable for Black radicals?
Replying to @RichardCovetous @drcbs_
The context for my reply was Black Men Build is an org who has received millions in Ford/Open Society $$$, yet were invited to help plan 2025’s National Black *Radical* Organizing Conference. It seems being Ford-funded is acceptable now in Black radical spaces, and ion like that.

if anyone is curious about my motivations in pointing out this contradiction and those like it, or wonder about who I am, I wrote this for you.
If it don’t apply, let it fly.

The divide is not always well articulated both both sides, but let’s not act like ‘socialists’ haven’t pushed an anti-nationalist agenda on the Black community for decades.
The Fire This Time Podcast retweeted
Were there outliers that incorporated both back then? Absolutely. Still are. But too many people are ignorant as to how US and Cuban socialists largely preferred integration to Black separatism at Blk Power’s height. Black ppl are till open to nationalism, hence the divide.

I understand the sentiment, but clearly the disdain that socialists showed Black nationalism during CRM & Black Power Movements has been largely hidden by history. There is a reason Robert F. Williams declared “I will not be a socialist Uncle Tom”.
The idea that Black people in America historically dislike socialism was made up on here 11 years ago by establishment democrats and white socialists with a recruitment problem #staywoke.

What happens when Black radicalism defines itself as countering (not aligning with) the internal colonial thesis? Many popular “Black radical” scholars reject it, but people don’t interrogate the implications (or read). We still have lessons to learn from the Black Power era.

Some of the most popular Black radical scholars in the US (if not most) outright reject the internal colonial thesis in their work. What does this mean for the relationship between Black radicalism and Black nationalism?
.@DabSquad_Slank breaks down how Dr. Keeanga Yamahtta-Taylor's rejection of the internal colonial thesis misses the mark.

two additional points on this part.
1. Burkina Faso is growing closer to both China and Russia more so than the US, so why the urge from US leftists to paint them as solely IMF pawns as opposed to unaligned/seeking self-determination? (we know why)
Replying to @KozyTheSun
While the country is still partially occupied by terrorist forces, how dare we judge them as "fake revolutionaries" for accepting half-measure support from the US and France...whom themselves are attempting to save face and influence throughout the AES.
The Fire This Time Podcast retweeted
The most cowardly people you know see no promise in the Sahel alliance. On Burkina Faso alone, shouldn't "activists" in the US withhold judgement until the terrorists there (backed by the US and France) are defeated?

Replying to @FDsignifier
@FDsignifier @FSignifier94043 where is the apology located for your lies about the Sahel region?
FD Signifier is sharing white leftist lies about the Sahel Alliance, spread the word. Is this who “Black radicals” want to represent them? Look at this BS article he shared. No citations given for stating the Sahel alliance is against the people? BS! aninjusticemag.com/hyperreal…

This is not to say that the Oakland BPP's approach was perfect or universally praised at the time. But it should push us to take on the more useful questions/debates we could be having right now. Black socialism vs Black businesses doesn't have to be fratricide.
The Fire This Time Podcast retweeted
They would call for their community to withdraw support from Black businesses that refused the freedom tax. Ultimately, that is where I think the debate needs to go. We, in 2026, are still lagging behind the 1960's with the current terms of debate.
The Fire This Time Podcast retweeted
In her book "The Revolution Has Come", Robyn Spencer explored how the BPP in Oakland demanded a freedom tax from local Black businesses, whom they would in turn support. The 'tax' was used for Panther institutions like the free clinic, newspaper, breakfast program, school, etc.

All that talk about merit and yet these mfs will do the absolute worst to trip you up. These DOGE depositions are an example of what black people have been telling folks in this country about. But no, mfs keep repeating that bootstrap rhetoric

I'm confused. You are saying that you are proud to have aided the US state department? Even telling us that it was a secret program. Y'all are abusing the culture doing dumb shit like that.
