Feron

I was reminded of something i've said for years now to my friends that's super prevalent with all the Tokon discussion happening recently! MOST OF YALL WOULD HATE MVC4 CAUSE IT WOULDN'T BE UMVC3! Many people ragged on Tokon not being "MVC", those same people would then hop on here and say the same thing "man they coulda just made MVC4". WHEN I KNOW DAMN WELL UMVC3 WOULDNT EXIST THE WAY IT DOES TODAY AND PEOPLE WOULDNT ACCEPT ANYTHING LESS THAN A MVC3 CLONE. Top Tiers? Woulda been nerfed to shit. TAC Infinites? Adjusted if not taken out entirely. Glitches? Removed, leaving some viable tech like Kuboto Escape out of players hands. PlinkDashing? Not even an intented mechanic but rather the result of exploiting the input latency window the game used. I MEAN HELL WE LITERALLY HAD AN ACCIDENTAL PATCH IN MARVEL 3 JUST THIS YEAR AND PEOPLE WENT NUTS!!! Its just the same statement over and over, when the inevitable answer is really simple. If you like UMVC3 then just play the damn game lol. Nobody's forcing you to like a certain franchise or game, the community is still strong all these years later and I still intend on supporting it in any and all ways that I can, but that doesnt mean im going to not enjoy Marvel Tokon! Trust me, There's ALOT of bullshit when it comes to Tokon and its all things that NEED to be adressed sooner rather than later, but ragging on a game for its "baggage" of legacy when that legacy was used for nothing more than INSPIRATION is nuts to me.
