The Christian life is a battle. The first step towards victory is to identify the enemy.
As Christian soldiers, we face three main enemies: the sinful systems of the world, the devil, and our own flesh. Winning this ongoing battle requires us to recognize the enemy, think like warriors, guard our minds, and rely on God’s strength above all else.
We aren’t called to fight spiritual battles with our own strength. God is greater than every enemy we face, and His power is more than enough.
We are so grateful to everyone who joined us today for worship!
As Dr. Anthony George began a new series, "The Playbook for Victory," he reminded us that spiritual battles are real, but through a renewed mind, a heart yielded to the Holy Spirit, and reliance on God's unlimited strength, we have everything we need to stand firm and experience victory in Christ. His message, "The Battle Is Real," is available on YouTube.

God’s Word isn’t only for Sunday. It gives us wisdom for everyday life.
Marriage, finances, parenting, health, and difficult decisions all give us opportunities to know God’s Word, apply it, and trust Him for discernment.
Our world needs men who genuinely pursue God.
A godly man won’t be perfect, but the people closest to him should be able to see that he loves Jesus, seeks God’s Word, and wants to keep growing.
Our natural desires will rarely push us toward spiritual growth.
Following Christ requires us to choose what strengthens our faith, even when we don’t feel like it. The more God’s Word fills our hearts, the more it shapes the way we live.

Are you growing in your walk with Christ? Or have you become complacent?
Spiritual growth doesn’t happen by accident. Every believer is responsible for growing in Christ. That growth requires a hunger for God’s Word, a commitment to putting it into practice, and a daily decision to overcome obstacles in the way of your spiritual maturity.
There’s always more room to grow. Would you ask God to give you the hunger and discipline to keep seeking Him?
Sometimes the problem isn’t knowing what we should do. It’s wanting to do it.
Ask God to give you a greater desire for Him, a hunger for His Word, and the motivation to keep growing in your faith.
Living like Jesus starts with serving others.
This week, Pastor David Barker reminds us to identify the needs of those around us, recognize the value in every person, serve without seeking recognition, and show the love of Jesus in all that we do.
You don’t have to do something big to make a difference in someone’s life. Sometimes, it’s as simple as striking up a conversation with a stranger or offering encouragement to a friend.
As you reflect on this message, ask: Who can you encourage this week?
There will always be something competing for our attention.
If we’re not careful, the worries, priorities, and distractions of life can slowly crowd out our time with God. Protect the time you spend in His Word and prayer.
It is easy to get comfortable in our walk with God and stop growing without even realizing it.
Spiritual maturity requires us to keep seeking Him, spending time in His Word, and asking Him to give us a deeper hunger to know Him more.
Don’t get complacent. Keep growing.
What an AMAZING time at Trunk-or-Treat!
Our parking lot was filled with smiling faces, excited kids, and families making wonderful memories together! From creatively decorated trunks to mountains of candy, everyone had a fantastic time!
A HUGE thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate with us, to all those who hosted a trunk and handed out candy, and to our incredible staff and volunteers who worked so hard to make this event a success!
We’re grateful to everyone who joined us today for worship, both in person and online.
Operation Christmas Child is in full swing! We were honored to welcome Aaron Hall, Senior Ministry Strategist for Church Partnerships with Samaritan’s Purse. He recognized Dr. Anthony George and First Baptist Atlanta with a special presentation for our 20-year partnership with Operation Christmas Child. We were also deeply moved by Kristiana Allenbaugh’s testimony as she shared how Operation Christmas Child impacted her life.
If you missed Dr. George’s message, “Don’t Get Complacent,” you can find it on YouTube.

Jesus created you. He knows you and cares about you deeply.
No matter what struggles you face, lay your worries onto Him and trust that He has it covered. Pray continuously, surround yourself with like-minded believers, and ask the Holy Spirit to fill you daily.
Be reminded that Jesus holds all things together by pastor David Barker.

When life feels completely out of control, remember: Jesus has the final word.
Jesus is never overwhelmed by our circumstances. His power is greater than our problems, and His timing is always perfect.
Whatever circumstances you are facing today, bring everything to the feet of Jesus. Even if you have to wait, trust Him with what you give Him.
Trust that Jesus has the final word.

In today's message, "Only Believe," Dr. Matthew Slemp, our Worship Pastor, taught that even when life feels hopeless and the answers seem out of reach, Jesus remains Lord over every situation. We can trust His power, remain faithful through seasons of waiting, and hold on to the hope we have in Him.
