Exactly 20 years on from launching First News, I’ve just learned today that my ChildrenUnited.com channel has been named Best Emerging News Provider in Europe by the World Association of News Publishers. A humbling milestone, and a reminder that the truth mission continues.

I went to the first night of #Matilda at the Cambridge Theatre, and went back again last night - for its 15 year anniversary - now the 10th longest-running show in the West End. I’d forgotten how fab it is and will be going again before 15 years! Book in advance for a discount!

8 May is a day to celebrate. 80 years ago to the day we breathed a collective sigh of relief for VE Day. We celebrate in First News with hopes for people living in harmony together. And, in tomorrow’s First News we celebrate this day again - it’s 99 years since Sir David Attenborough was born. He’s another champion for harmony - this time with nature. An auspicious date indeed. Make your day count. 🙂
