Just scrolled through so many posts that were completely nuts. Either we are going through a paranoia crisis or People think up wacky stories and post them in the hope some nut job will read and respond. So bloody sad ladies and gentlemen.

I am fully aware of climate change and clearly want a sustainable planet. I am however totally fed up with people who see UK net zero as a panacea for real change. We alone will change nothing, but a localised tick in an isolated box for some to crow over. Real change is global.

HR: “We accidentally paid you $275,000.” Me: “You didn’t.” HR: “The money went into your account yesterday.” Me: “No. It didn’t.” She turned her laptop toward me. There was a $275,000 payment under my name. My employee ID. My department. Everything looked right. Except the bank account. I stared at it. Me: “That’s not my account number.” HR: “Our records say it is.” Me: “I’ve had the same bank account for six years.” My manager was sitting beside her. He leaned back in his chair. Manager: “Maybe you changed it and forgot to update us.” I looked at him. Me: “I think I’d remember opening a bank account I don’t recognize.” Nobody laughed. HR folded her hands. HR: “Until we figure this out, you’re going to need to cooperate with the investigation.” Me: “Fine. But I want the account frozen.” HR: “Why?”

SKY will shortly run a programme called ‘WAR GAME’. It’s basically a recreation of what happens when Russia decides to attack the UK. I know no more than seeing the trailer which was thought provoking. I hope Andy Burnham watches. No time to wear smug face on the front bench.

Every day brings more shame on our politicians and especially Mr Burnham. The army can’t train until April, a single warship could not get to Cyprus for weeks, defence spending has not been addressed. The PM had national threats to address so knocked a £1 off bus fares. 1/2

Burnham could have looked after our national needs, but sadly could not help being another party first socialist. At some stage we must have a PM and party prepared to do the hard yards of fixing the UK and leaving the cheeky chappie for less daunting times .

84p per week off electricity bills and looks for applause. Get a laugh at reducing taxes at PMQ’s. I know many laughed outside of Labour. Not because it was clever, but because the cheeky chap is giggling whilst our nations reputation burns.

TFG we expected so much better. This is an unmitigated disaster. I can only point a finger and say you have robbed a loyal fanbase of hope! We are not new to incompetence. We have suffered it for years. Your credibility is at risk with another lost season. This needs explaining.

What’s happening? Seems a good place for Everton fans as frankly we haven’t a clue. That said TFG will know to the £. SCR needs to be managed and unlike Moshiri TFG will operate prudently within the rules. The kind of transfer activity fans expect depends on growing revenue. 1/2

There are questions to ask?Recruitment is poor. Much smaller clubs buy value and sell big. We buy market value and sell cheaply. Lots of comments on Nidaye. He’s a good player, but £60m is a good deal. He’s lost his mojo not for the first time. Armstrong hopefully not happening.

Role on Tuesday night. Still not sure who’s in or out, but time will tell. X can be mind numbing with so much negativity. Happy Armstrong stays perhaps someone should have told the board that £40m now or £100m+in two years was the real decision.
31
Everton speculation on Ndiaye to City and Armstrong to Forest with £120m income resting on moves. With both playing either big risk taken or no moves advanced very far if at all.

Everton played a strong team and won 4-0. Could have been a few more. Question for all the mosners slating Moyes after his interview. Moyes failed again? If that was not taking the game seriously or playing a weak team you were right. Seems you got it very wrong!

Net Zero is a simple message. The reality is the UK does not exist in a climate bubble. If big fossil fuel users continue then UK Net Zero makes no difference and no sense. Miliband & others are absolutely kidding themselves. We need to focus on how we manage the current outlook.

Regardless of political ideology there is one massive issue with the UK. Our elected political representatives have no ability to behave without confrontation being the communication of choice. Sadly we are not holding them to account to serve us, we extend the confrontation.
15
All politicians should be banned from answering questions with a reference to what the previous government did. Starmer is by far the worst and even as he heads to the exit door he does it again at PMQ’s. You can’t try and justify your own incompetence on someone else’s previous.

I am not going to write anything other than never seen so much hypocrisy from Labour supporters. Labour won the last election because the Tories pretty much did it for them with their stupid infighting. Posts today suggest Labour will follow suite. Nobody wins, everybody loses.

Whoever leads our country. Statesmanship is not sitting around a table talking with our allies like they give a damn about partnership. It’s ensuring your citizens don’t spend more time in queues at EU airports than the flight time to get there. If they must make the system work

#@bbclaurak Interview with Zia Yusuf was very poor. Question from LK what was more important the interests of family or political response? Is she trying to make Reform sound insensitive over family wishes. Answer things need to change to stop it happening again. So you try both

QT tonight was held in Ashton-in-Makerfield a head of the by-election. My question for Reform leadership. Your candidate is up against a polished Andy Burnham and seasoned local politicians. Why have a naive candidate who was on the back foot from the start over historic sexism?
