when it comes to the men, i'd say tobirama is easily one of the best-looking characters in naruto. sasuke, itachi, kakashi, and minato are also up there, but there's something about tobirama's design that makes him stand out.
as for the women, i'm torn between kurenai and shizune. both are underrated when it comes to looks. 馃サ
since two of the big three anime have now ended i thought i'd compare their endings and decide which one did it better.
so if you've watched both bleach and naruto you'd definitely know that both series end with some crazy final battles.
but honestly i'm still more of a fan of naruto's ending than bleach's.
bleach's ending definitely had its flaws, ngl. the biggest problem for me is that, despite being the conclusion of such a massive series, it didn't really give me that feeling of an ending. emotionally, i just wasn't as moved as i was with naruto.
don't get me wrong action-wiseb bleach's finale was great but even then i still prefer naruto's final battle.
imo yhwach was so boring villain, in the beginning he was fun but when he became too powerful i lost interest in him
one thing i really didn't like was the filter they used during some of the big fights. that's a big reason why the fights didn't grab my attention as much as i expected them to.
but putting the filter issue aside, everything else was still pretty good, and bleach definitely delivered some incredible moments.
overall both endings have their strengths, but if i had to choose one i'd still go with naruto hehe.
honestly my overall opinion on the tybw adaptation is still positive but icl but the final episode was a pretty disappointing way to end everything.
the biggest problem is that the anime had almost 10 years to think about how to improve the manga's ending and while they did add some new scenes it still feels like they left a lot of things unfinished.
and the frustrating part is that the anime actually tried to expand certain characters and plotlines only to abandon them later.
the same thing happened with uryu. they added more scenes involving him introduced new connections, and even expanded his involvement in the story but a lot of that buildup didn't really lead anywhere meaningful by the end.
then there's grimmjow who got modified by urahara to help stop yhwach's powers. the scene itself was interesting but it ultimately felt like another missed opportunity cuz we never got to see those implications fully explored.
and don't even get me started on isshin and ryuken. these two characters had so much potential to contribute to the final battle, especially considering their connections to ichigo and the quincy but their involvement felt extremely limited.
what makes this even more frustrating is that the anime clearly had the potential to do better. the new scenes proved that kubo and the animation team were willing to expand the source material but some of those additions ended up creating more questions than answers.
however, i don't think everything was bad. ichigo's new powers were interesting, the action was incredible, and yhwach's final exchanges with ichigo were genuinely compelling. i also appreciate how the anime explored certain aspects of the story that the manga couldn't fully develop.
but here's the thing: adding more content doesn't automatically mean you're improving the story. those additions need to lead somewhere and that's where the adaptation struggled in certain areas.
after all those years of waiting, i expected the anime to give these characters and plotlines the closure they deserved. instead, we ended up with some incredible moments alongside several missed opportunities.
i still love bleach, and tybw delivered some of the best action and animation the franchise has ever seen. but when it comes to the overall conclusion, i can't help feeling that there was so much more potential left unexplored.
Maybe in hell arc 馃挦 if there is.
fujimoto is actually so funny for this 馃槶
bro made reze one of the most loved characters in chainsaw man, admitted that he loves drawing her, and even said that he fell in love with her all over again after watching the movie version of her.
but the funniest part is that he literally started questioning his own writing after finishing the movie
he was wondering why he didn't let reze and denji meet again to the point where he couldn't even sleep cuz the questions from his own work were coming back to haunt him.
AND THE WAY HE TALKS ABOUT REZE IS CRAZY 馃槶
he loves her cute expressions, enjoys drawing her, and even explained how her chapters were inspired by the movie jin-roh: the wolf brigade.
he also loves the contrast in her personality,
where she can be incredibly cute one moment and brutally violent the next.
bro really created a character, made millions of people fall in love with her, made her suffer, and then started suffering from his own writing decisions lmao 馃ぃ
after getting completely teased by Sayu Yoshida finally decides to ask her name.
because calling her "the high-school girl" every five seconds is getting ridiculous lol 馃槅
so he asks her who she actually is. and that's when she finally introduces herself. her name is Sayu.
Yoshida repeats her name probably just to make sure he heard it correctly.
then he starts talking about the kanji used in her name. instead of simply saying "nice name bro starts analyzing where the characters come from lmao
he explains how the kanji can be connected to words like Bishamon and Yasashii.
and Sayu finds this explanation pretty funny. she even tells him that this is apparently the first time she's heard someone describe the kanji that way.
but Yoshida isn't really bothered by it.
he's still trying to understand this whole situation.
because just yesterday, he didn't even know this girl existed.
and now she's standing in his kitchen, cooking his food and casually talking to him like they've known each other forever 馃寶.
Lowkey love this story
Higehiro #4
Sayu tells Yoshida that nothing happened. she was only teasing him because she knew he was worried
she had a pretty good reason to mess with him. bcuz apparently the previous night she had offered to do whatever he wanted in exchange for having somewhere to stay.
but drunk Yoshida actually rejected her. he apparently told her that he wasn't interested in "brats."
which is honestly impressive considering how drunk he was...... at least drunk Yoshida still had enough common sense to not make things worse.
then Sayu reveals another thing he apparently said.
apparently, Yoshida told her that he wanted her to make him miso soup every day.
and Sayu immediately points out how ridiculous that sounds.
because from her perspective, saying "i want you to make me miso soup every day" sounds almost like he's proposing to her 馃槶
Yoshida obviously denies saying something like that.
he's absolutely certain that even while drunk, he wouldn't say something that embarrassing.
but judging by how much he can't remember...
he really isn't in a position to argue.
and at this point, it's pretty clear that Sayu has been enjoying watching him struggle to remember the night before.

so basically the next morning Yoshida wakes up and immediately realizes something is seriously wrong.
because standing inside his house is a random high-school girl 馃拃
he obviously has no idea why she's there, so the first thing he does is ask her what the hell she's doing in his house.
but the girl is completely calm.
she casually tells him that she stayed because apparently he gave her permission to stay the previous night.
and the situation gets even more ridiculous because she's already in his kitchen making miso soup.
like bro hasn't even processed why she's in his house and she's already cooking breakfast 馃槶
Yoshida asks what she's making, and she simply tells him it's miso soup.
he obviously tells her not to go around making food in other people's houses without permission.
but then she reminds him that he was the one who told her she could stay.
and when he tries to argue with her, she casually calls him "uncle."
Yoshida immediately corrects her.
he's not her uncle.
but she finds his reaction hilarious and keeps teasing him about it.
and this is where Yoshida starts realizing that something must have happened last night
Higehiro #1
the problem is Yoshida barely remembers anything from the previous night.
he remembers drinking with friend
then he remembers finding this girl sitting under a lamppost on his way home.
but after bringing her home?
nothing.
his memories are basically gone
so while talking to her the next morning, everything slowly starts coming back.
he remembers that she was sitting there under the lamppost, looking like she was in some kind of trouble.
and somehow, instead of just walking past her, Yoshida ended up bringing her home.
but because he was extremely drunk at the time, he has no idea what happened after that.
and now he's standing there looking at her, wondering if he might have done something stupid.
so he finally asks the question he's been worrying about.
he asks her if he did anything inappropriate to her.
and instead of immediately answering...
she just stares at him.
that silence makes things way more terrifying 馃槶
Yoshida starts sweating because he genuinely can't remember what happened.
but then the girl suddenly breaks into laughter.
and that's when he realizes...
she was literally just messing with him.

jiraiya actually had a chance to escape from pain, but he chose to stay because he wanted to figure out pain鈥檚 true identity.
and lowkey that decision is what made his death so important for the story.
the information he gathered wasn鈥檛 enough to instantly defeat pain, but it gave konoha the puzzle pieces they needed to understand how his powers worked.
he discovered that pain was being controlled from somewhere else, that there were multiple bodies, and that each body had different abilities.
but the biggest thing was the message he managed to send back to the village before dying.
without jiraiyas information, naruto and the others would have had to figure everything out themselves while pain was already attacking konoha.
and there鈥檚 also the emotional side of it, because jiraiyas death became the final push that changed naruto.
jiraiya basically died believing that naruto was the one who could eventually surpass pain and bring the change he himself failed to achieve.
so yeah, could jiraiya have escaped? probably. but if he had we probably wouldn鈥檛 have gotten one of the most important sacrifices in naruto.
boa hancock is obviously one of the strongest female characters in one piece, but the question is actually which female character could give her the most trouble?
and lowkey tsuru is a pretty interesting answer.
we barely know the full extent of her abilities, but even doflamingo was genuinely wary of her.
her devil fruit also seems way more dangerous than it looks. if she can properly trap someone, it might basically be a one shot situation.
then there鈥檚 the possibility of characters like perona or brulee.
their abilities create completely different matchups where raw strength doesn't necessarily decide the fight.
brulee especially could be interesting because of the mirror mechanic.
if boa relies on mero mero beam, could brulee potentially reflect it back?
but the funniest matchup might actually be big mom.
boa's fruit could potentially work on her depending on her mental state, but big mom's insane haki and durability make this a completely different fight.
and that's what makes these matchups so interesting.
one piece isn't always about who's stronger. sometimes the actual devil fruit matchup can completely change the outcome.
