Nobody who watched him in LA is surprised by this. lol Tries too hard to sit back and protect leads. It’s the main reason they lost to the oilers in the playoffs in such dramatic fashion 2 years ago. Hiller coaches like he’s trying not to lose. Thats the coach he is and WAS when they hired him.

I’ve defended a lot of Hillers decisions. But I flat out completely disagree with benching McKenna The game was going perfectly well and you decide to staple him and play shut down. That’s not what this team is. That’s not how this player will develop. It’s jus not necessary
