Spot how the contrails from this B747-400 wrap around one another? That swirling, tornado-like motion is fluid dynamics in action — more precisely, wingtip vortices. Pressure is higher beneath the wing than above it, so air flows around the wingtip from the high-pressure region to the low-pressure region escaping around the tip creating rotating vortices. Those vortices travel in a circular motion, causing the visible trails to twist and wrap around each other. It’s also the same phenomenon responsible for induced drag and wake turbulence. What ISRO's small rover Pragyan saw on the Moon, in 3D. We turned all 56 stereo views from Chandrayaan-3's Pragyan rover into one 3D journey across the lunar south pole: 12 days, from landing to sleep. How is this 3D? Pragyan has two cameras, 24 cm apart, just like your eyes. Every scene was shot from both, and when you flip between them fast, your brain sees depth. That's it. Real ISRO data, no AI, no fake frames. Our favourite moment is 30 August 2023, one week after landing, when Pragyan turned around and looked back at Vikram, the lander that carried it all the way to the Moon. Here it is in 3D.
