FOUR ARRESTED WITH AK-47, TWO HANDGUNS IN MUDEN, KZN Four men aged between 19 and 35 have been arrested in Muden, KwaZulu-Natal, after police allegedly found them in possession of three firearms and 159 rounds of ammunition. According to the South African Police Service (SAPS), the arrests followed an intelligence-driven operation in the early hours of Thursday, 29 October 2026. National Crime Intelligence officers had received information alleging that the suspects, who were actively involved in ongoing anti-immigration marches, were linked to cash-in-transit robberies and possessed firearms. A multidisciplinary police team subsequently searched a residence in Muden, where officers recovered an AK-47 assault rifle, two handguns and ammunition. The firearms will undergo ballistic testing to determine whether they may be linked to crimes committed in KwaZulu-Natal or elsewhere in the country. The suspects are expected to appear before the Greytown Magistrate’s Court on Friday, 30 October 2026, on charges relating to the illegal possession of firearms and ammunition.

Zuma said in a democracy people will be allowed to protest and to boo him. He said in a dictatorship police would be unleashed on the people, and not be given an audience. Zuma was the last democratic President we had, and we are now fully in a dictatorship.

BREAKING NEWS 🚨 Court Grants NPA Order to Restrain R99m in Assets Linked to Joe Sibanyoni The National Prosecuting Authority’s (NPA) Asset Forfeiture Unit (AFU) has obtained a provisional restraint order over assets worth an estimated R99 million linked to Mpumalanga taxi boss Joe “Ferrari” Sibanyoni and others accused of organised crime, including extortion. The order was granted by the Mpumalanga Division of the High Court in Middelburg on 28 September 2026 under the Prevention of Organised Crime Act (POCA), following investigations involving the NPA’s Organised Crime Unit and the South African Police Service (SAPS). The assets include properties in Centurion and Pretoria, luxury vehicles such as Ferraris, a Porsche, Lexus, Mercedes-Benz and BMW models, as well as bank accounts and investments. A court-appointed curator will oversee the assets in accordance with the order. Sibanyoni and his co-accused, Bafana “King of the Sky” Sindane, Daniel Masilela and Philemon Msiza, face extortion and money laundering charges. The State alleges that they demanded more than R2.2 million in protection fees from businessman Tengane Thomas Ntuli between 2022 and 2025 in connection with a contract linked to the R573 Moloto Road project. The four are out on bail of R70,000 each. Their case was postponed to 20 April 2027 in the Delmas Magistrate’s Court. The allegations have also featured before the Madlanga Commission of Inquiry. Sibanyoni has denied the extortion claims, saying the payments were linked to a business partnership. The NPA said the restraint order aims to prevent people from benefiting from the proceeds of crime, adding that extortion undermines legitimate businesses, discourages investment and threatens economic growth. The order remains provisional, and Sibanyoni and his co-accused have not been convicted of the charges.

#PoliceMinistry [ACTING MINISTER OF POLICE TO SEEK CABINET CONCURRENCE FOR APPOINTMENT OF LT GENERAL NHLANHLA MKHWANAZI AS NATIONAL HEAD OF THE DPCI] The Acting Minister of Police, Mr Firoz Cachalia has, pursuant to the powers vested in him in terms of the South African Police Service Act 68 of 1995, initiated the process to appoint a National Head of the Directorate for Priority Crime Investigation (DPCI), commonly known as the #Hawks. In accordance with Section 17CA(1)–(3) of the Act, the appointment of the National Head of the DPCI is made by the Minister of Police, with the concurrence of Cabinet. The Act further provides for the reporting of the appointment to Parliament. The Acting Minister has submitted a Cabinet Memorandum seeking Cabinet’s concurrence for the appointment of Lieutenant General Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi as the National Head of the DPCI. The Memorandum will be presented at the earliest opportunity during a Cabinet sitting. The DPCI plays a critical role in South Africa’s fight against organised crime, corruption, and other serious priority offences. This is a priority for the Police Reset Agenda. The appointment of a National Head is important in ensuring strong leadership, strategic direction and operational effectiveness in addressing these crimes. ME saps.gov.za/newsroom/ms.php

A guy went to pay lobola for his girlfriend. While he was waiting in the car for his uncles to finish the negotiations, a guy around his age approached him, holding two beers. After getting into the car, they started chatting. The guy asked: “I hear you’re here to pay lobola, my brother?” He replied, “Yes, my brother.” The guy then asked, “Did she tell you that she has a nqosi (a child)?” He replied, “Yes, she told me, and I even promised to love that child.” The guy said, “Ooooh!” as he lit a cigarette. “I am that child.” 😂😂😂
