NEW: Ken "Mike" Dunn, federal informant and subject of my new documentary series Fall of the Boogaloo, responds to people "upset" for him informing on three men involved in a machine gun sale, emphasizing their use of drugs. "I stand 10 toes down on my choices I made to work alongside of the FBI for 4 years" he says. Dunn has announced a run for political office in Halifax County, Virginia.

DOCUMENTARY CLIP: American militia activist and then-accused informant Mike Dunn describes that a source offered to fund him "with good money" to go into Ukraine as the war began. "This time, I'm really going, I mean, we are doing to fight," he recalls joining the war.

DOCUMENTARY CLIP: After his hiatus amidst accusations of informing to the FBI, Mike Dunn left to fight in Ukraine with his friend Henry Hoeft. Hoeft quickly retreated, stating in a video online that he wore a Red Cross vest to sneak out of the region. Meanwhile, Dunn says he and a group of volunteers in Ukraine called themselves "Task Force 10" borrowing from Trevor Herrin, an affiliate of theirs with federal government connections.

DOCUMENTARY CLIP: About a year after removing himself from the Boogaloo movement as an accused informant, Mike Dunn returned, announcing that he'd worked as a jail guard during that time. He says he provided information to the Central Virginia Law Enforcement Academy about the Boogaloo movement to integrate into their classes, and even appeared inside a Powerpoint on terrorism, which I obtained via FOIA. Ironically, Special Agent Jennifer Fisher, accused of being Dunn's FBI handler, had graduated from the same academy two decades prior.

While his friends told me they view it as an intentional suicide, his mother tells me that it was a fluke accident, and the boys "should not blame themselves at all." "That blood rests solely on David Phillips' head," remarks Mike Dunn.

DOCUMENTARY CLIP: "They had guns pointed at me!" recalls the mother of Anthony Martin, who manufactured the ghost machine gun sold to David Phillips, as the ATF raided their home. ATF agents recovered several firearms and interviewed Anthony Martin, charging him with three felonies.
