It’s been a journey. I can’t wait to represent the great city of Memphis at the State House.
Thank you to everyone who helped make this happen. It was an achievement that would be impossible to do alone.
Only crossed paths a few times but I’ve always been a big fan of Mayor Holt.
A political party that is morally and intellectually bankrupt deserves the rebuke of the American people.
It is now time to make America good again.
That is an endeavor to which all Americans can contribute, for we are not Democrats, Republicans or Independents. We are humans, and the things that unite us far exceed the things that divide us.
We are the caretakers of the American experiment, and the experiment has been rejuvenated tonight.
My morning reminder.
That was fun… a lot of fun. But it doesn’t matter unless we get to work.
Quickly.

South Carolina, you have shown the nation — in an era of partisan divides, of vitriol and namecalling, in a politics dominated by billionaires, special interests, and insiders in Washington — that we will not bow down.
We will not back down. And we will chart our own course.
🤯😳🙌🏼🥲… all the emotions tonight.

AMAZING!!! LETS GOOO!!!
For my SC and NY peeps, I’ve got a Huseth sign the size of a small billboard in my yard. 😂 All politics are local.
#NEW: Incumbent State Rep John Gillespie (R) is looking at an upset. Democratic challenger Jesse Huseth campaigned aggressively (he knocked on my door three times and I lost count of the flyers in the mail.)
Democrats likely to flip the District 97 seat BLUE.
I believe the only reason South Carolina is a LEAN and not a CALL is because the networks are so stunned by the result, they are double and triple checking their data.
This thing is over. 😳😳😳😳

@DarlineGrahamSC is 50K behind @AGAlanWilson.
It will be almost impossible for her to beat @AnnieAndrewsMD
THIS is the number one story of this cycle. #scpol
We haven’t lived in South Carolina for six years. But did for 20+. Many of our friends, “family”, coworkers, and colleagues obviously still do.
Annie represents a ray of hope. A sign of change. A bright light in what has been a dark few years.
Crossing all my fingers and toes…
This is exactly what I would want, and expect a high-level coach to say. I have no problem with this at all… but there is one fundamental flaw in the argument. 😉
Instant (delayed) analysis.
SC went basically 7 deep
*1 freshman
*1 transfer
*2 first game 18+ mos
*1 new PG
1st half you saw what this group can grow into. 2nd half you saw predictable growing pains.
They’ll get better. They’ll figure out rest of rotation. Scary.
J’ai fini.
