Teach your kids the basics. The common sense and mechanical kids will be the uneducated rich adults in the future.
We decided to take Maddox out of public schooling and have him homeschooled this year. Today we are learning fractions. He said what size wrench does that take. I said it’s a three quarter and he went and found it. Also he found out what happens when the wrench slips off when you are trying to tighten it.
We have a teacher that comes here every day to work on the book smart side of things but this type of stuff will teach him common sense. Which is hard to find sometimes.
