JUST IN: New "Elon 2028" committee pushes to change the Constitution so Musk can run for president
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
An unaffiliated Super PAC named Elon 2028 was registered with the FEC in mid-October 2026. Its website states it seeks to amend the Constitution so Musk can run for president and is linked to a memecoin; there is no Musk affiliation or awareness. fec.gov/data/committee… elon2028.vote san.com/cc/elon-musk-f…

Was im Wahlprogramm steht? Sympathie? Vergangenheit? Gewohnheit? Tja was is nu gut was ist schlecht. Die Zeit wirds zeigen.

Good news for Tangem holders: your assets remain fully secure. The Coldcard case is not relevant to Tangem. Their issue lies in their proprietary firmware and a random flaw specific to certain devices. Tangem runs on entirely separate code and does not use or share any part of that implementation. Here is why: 1. At Tangem, private keys are generated entirely inside the EAL6+ certified Samsung Secure Element using its built-in hardware True Random Number Generator (TRNG). The key is created inside the chip and never leaves it. 2. Beyond certified hardware, Tangem’s firmware and security architecture have been independently audited by Kudelski Security, Riscure, Cure53 Laboratories, with particular focus on secure private key generation, storage, and usage.

Templar did not make Bittensor. $TAO made Templar. Covenant-72B was trained across 70+ contributors using commodity internet hardware. It hit 67.1 on MMLU. It got praised by Jensen Huang on the All-In Podcast. It got cited in an arXiv paper. Jack Clark from Anthropic referenced it twice. All of that is real. All of that was impressive. But none of it happens without the platform underneath it. The miners who contributed their GPUs were Bittensor miners. The incentive mechanism that paid them to compete was Bittensor's Yuma Consensus. The emissions that funded the entire operation came from $TAO. The validators who scored quality came from the Bittensor network. The infrastructure that made it possible for 70 strangers across the globe to coordinate a 72 billion parameter training run without a corporate structure, without contracts, without a central office that infrastructure is Bittensor. The founder walked away. The network stays. And here is what people keep forgetting. This was not the first team to do decentralized training on Bittensor. Nous Research held that subnet before Templar. They left too. And what happened? Another team showed up, picked up the work, and pushed it further than Nous ever did. That is the entire design working exactly as intended. The network does not depend on any single team. It creates the conditions for teams to emerge, compete, and produce results that would be nearly impossible to achieve outside of it. Right now Macrocosmos on @IOTA_SN9 is doing large-scale pre-training. @gradients_ai on SN56 is running decentralized AutoML competitions. @affine_io on SN120 just proved that incentivized miners independently beat base models across every major benchmark. Multiple teams with different approaches all pushing the frontier of what decentralized training can do. One team leaves. Three more are already doing the work. The community that staked into Templar, the miners who ran the compute, the validators who scored the outputs they are the ones who made Covenant-72B possible. Not one founder. The swarm. And the swarm is still here. $TAO
I am not going to sugarcoat this. Last night hurt $TAO & Subnet holders The founder of Covenant AI decided to cash out of SN3, SN39, and SN81, dumped roughly 37,000 $TAO worth of subnet Alpha on the way out, and cratered prices across the board. $TAO dropped as much as 27%. Nearly $900 million in market cap wiped. $9 million in longs liquidated. Alpha holders on those subnets got absolutely crushed. I was one of them. I lost a significant amount from this. That is the reality and I am not going to pretend otherwise. But I am still here. And I am still buying. Let me tell you why. First, let me be clear about what actually happened. A subnet owner got into a disagreement with Const, got upset, and used it as an excuse to dump his bags on the people who trusted him. That is it. That is the whole story. He dressed it up as a principled stand against centralized governance but the man sold 37,000 $TAO worth of Alpha on his own community while posting a manifesto. That is a rug plain and simple. Const responded within the hour. Publicly. On chain. With a solution. Some people are acting like Bittensor died last night. It did not. Let me show you what actually happened in the hours after the dump. Const proposed lock-based subnet ownership where ownership of a subnet is determined by a team's long-term economic commitment to the project. Not by who registered first. Not by who controls the keys. By who has skin in the game over time. Investors would see in advance if an owner unlocked their tokens. The market could reprice the subnet before the owner dumps. And conviction could be directed to another team or even an agent to manage the system. If implemented, this would be the most significant governance upgrade since dTAO launched. And it came within hours. Not weeks. Not after a committee meeting. Within hours. That is what this network does. It finds its weak spots and it fixes them. Fast. @MacrocosmosAI posted: "Bittensor always emerges stronger from pain. Hacks, exploits, disagreements all fade into the history of this protocol. The flame of distributed training continues to burn brightly. One individual does not make a nation." @jon_durbin from Chutes: "Chutes is and always will be a Bittensor project. Chutes is Bittensor and Bittensor is Chutes." @MaxScore from Score: "Score is and always will be a Bittensor project. Score is Bittensor and Bittensor is Score." Loayei: "Don't care about the drama. Will continue building $TAO." @TroyQuasar from Quasar called it what it was. He said it was bullshit, that no one is bigger than the network, and that Quasar will take it from here. The builders did not leave. The builders doubled down within hours. Publicly. On record. @markjeffrey put it simply: "Bittensor is quite a LOT more than Subnet 3, and $TAO will carry on fine without it. There are 125 other subnets plus three new slots that just freed up." Three new subnet slots just opened. While people were panic selling, builders were already eyeing the open seats. @SiamKidd gave the most grounded take. He acknowledged the drama, acknowledged that Sam's governance concerns were not entirely wrong, but made the point that Const's motives have always been genuine. This is growth. This is what permissionless systems look like when they encounter stress. They break in specific places, they get patched, and they come back harder. This is not the first time something like this has happened on Bittensor. It is not even the second time. Nous Research left the ecosystem before. And what happened? The network adapted, subnets evolved, and the protocol kept building. Every previous inflection point led to upgrades that made the system stronger. Covenant-72B was real. The training was real. Fundamentals haven’t changed: 21M hard cap, halving complete, 68% staked, nine institutional products accumulating, Grayscale ETF pending. $TAO just went on sale at a 27% discount. Builders keep building. I’m buying this dip. $TAO

Btw i should address some of the points in the article which AI slop influencers are now repeating. > I suspended emissions to his subnets I do not have the ability to suspend emissions. What i did do is sell some of my alpha holdings on his three subnets, because they were not running, and were on near 100% burn code. This changed the emission the same way all buys and sells on Bittensor do. I don’t have any privilege beyond what normal TAO holders have. > I deprecated Covenant’s channels and removed moderation rights No, Samuel specifically deprecated his own channels which he did via a pinned comment and also a Twitter post. To be clear, he is talking about a discord channel. > I removed his ability to moderate his community Sam was deleting posts in his channel of genuine, honest criticism. I removed that ability temporarily and then reinstated it later. I did not remove his moderator role. I simply stopped him from deleting posts from others in his channels. > “deprecating infrastructure” Not even sure what this one means. > large visible token sales Not large. Less than 1% of what i had invested in his teams. Visibility is impossible to avoid in my position. I reserve my right to buy and sell tokens which is what underpins the entire system of dTao. Anything else?

“Bitcoin is your friend, Bitcoin is the United States and TAO is a state inside of the Bitcoin Universe” - @const_reborn $TAO fam, let’s do what other crypto projects haven’t by keeping it real and recognizing the role of Bitcoin. Super bullish for bittensor after hearing this acknowledgment by Jacob Steeves, it shows clarity and deep understanding of sound money principles.

Links 2024 - Rechts 2026 (Aktuell) (Roter Pfeil Nonfarm Payrolls)
