No. Admire the art, not the artist.
But I did have someone unfollow and block me because I praised Joseph Campbell.
(Apparently he is an antisemite or something? I dunno. I didn't look it up)
Good luck to anyone who refuses to admire art unless composed by a saint.

If you’re not sure where to start, I’d begin with five books:
1. Homer, The Iliad
What makes a great man?
2. Sophocles, Antigone
What do we owe to law,
family, and the dead?
3. Plato, Apology
What makes a life worth living?
4. Marcus Aurelius, Meditations
What is within our control?
5. Dostoevsky, Crime and Punishment
Can we live with a guilty conscience?
