Just finished this book…one of the most evocative books I have read for a long time. Who would have thought a story about a woman living in 14th Century Norway could be so affecting. Would highly commend.

Please pray for our pastor, Fr. Tim MacDonald, who found out he has stage 4 melanoma with a cancerous tumor in his skull causing mobility problems. The tumor is bleeding and growing. He needs prayers desperately, as does our whole parish. This young man has been a blessing to us.

In Austin, I visited a coffee shop tucked into a single-family neighborhood. It was a community hub where neighbors gathered over coffee and breakfast tacos.
We need more third spaces spaces like this to bring our rapidly fracturing society back together, not fewer…
