No… But context matters.
A few months ago he survived an accident that took the lives of two close friends and left him seriously injured. Most people will never understand what that does to someone mentally. Losing people you love changes you forever.
Maybe the fight camp gave him something to focus on. Maybe it was too soon. None of us really know.
What I do know is this: it takes courage to step into a boxing ring at the best of times, let alone carrying that kind of pain. He got knocked down, got back up, and found a way to win.
Before being too critical, remember that fighters are human first.
