11 to 1 to acquit someone who admitted to murdering her 3 children... Peak moral inversion. See Isaiah 5:20. How do we restore morality & justice in our world or do we focus on ensuring our name is in The Lamb's Book of Life? Can we do both?

If Amendment 3 doesn't easily pass today in FL, can we safely conclude voting is rigged?

Woman puts up a sign on her front door that reads, β€œJesus loves you. No candy, but we have prayer. Ring the doorbell.” Watch what happens next. That kid is a leader. This is awesome. πŸ™πŸΎ πŸŽ₯ dmusic

Owning your OWN local PC hardware has never been more important. I don’t care if you buy from me or not, it’s a fact. The tech oligarchs don’t want you to possess components capable of running your own local system. It impedes their ability to control hardware and information. Local hardware means local files, local AI if you want it, and nobody's subscription sitting between you and your own stuff.
Sam Altman says it's "quite terrible" that people keep RAM in their own PCs instead of data centers. This is the same company that signed deals for a massive chunk of the world's memory supply. Pretty sure my 32GB isn't the problem.

If you need any more reason...
‼️ Sam Altman says it's "quite terrible" that people keep the world's scarce DRAM in their own computers. Arguing against running AI locally, he wants it in data centres instead, as home PCs use it just 5% of the time. "Many people's intuition is the opposite of that," he said.

My thoughts on using AI to write code: Without a solid software development background, you're unknowingly drowning in spaghetti code & technical debt.

Amazing investigation on Flock abuse. Remember, this abuse is happening with every mass surveillance tool, not just Flock. The time to end mass surveillance is now, before these systems become too entrenched to remove. Thank you @bennjordan for leading this fight!

Never take a call from your credit card company or from your bank. Always assume it’s fraud. Instead, hang up and call the number on the back of your cc or ATM card and ask if they were trying to get a hold of you. Perhaps they were, but the difference is that now you know you’re talking to the real companies.
The perfect storm is frontier models finding obscure security vulnerabilities at breakneck pace while voice models become indecipherable from human speech. When a model hits a roadblock, it will just spoof Caller ID as your bank and call you, pretending to be your banker.

Fun fact: They're not gonna give us another chance to save our homes from unjust taxation in the future. It’s now or never, this is our one and only chance to reign in wasteful government spending. Vote YES on Amendment 3.

This will be my 2nd Halloween I won't be celebrating...
Hobby Lobby founder David Green says he walked away from more than $22 million in Halloween merchandise sales after feeling convicted that God wanted him to stop selling it Obedience isn’t always profitable in the moment. Sometimes following God means more than money

Why does everything feel fake? We have a Congress that won't pass something 83% people want. We have courts that release criminals faster than police can arrest them. We have schools that graduate kids who can’t read. We have colleges that charge $200K for degrees that don’t get you jobs. We have a non-profit system that profits from our tax dollars. We have a health care industry that profits from you staying sick. We have β€œrepresentatives” who don’t represent us. We have β€œnews” networks that report opinions and call them facts. We have an insurance industry that fights every single claim. None of it works the way they tell you it works. And deep down, everyone knows it. It just all feels so so fake…

Nobody wants this so why is it being forced down our throats?
The new technology in vehicles that constantly monitors you is getting out of control This American went out of town so she got a rental car. She’s in a new place with beautiful scenery so she’s looking around at it as she drives. This is unacceptable for the car β€œEvery time I look to the right for a nanosecond or something, it would shine across the screen, keep your eyes on the road. Keep your eyes on the road. I've been driving for years, never needed a warning or a signal β€” I'd rather just drive the car and let it be. I thought it was a little creepy.” The car she’s driving is the Subaru Outback with Subaru’s DriverFocus, it’s their Distraction Mitigation System - It uses an infrared camera to watch the driver’s eyes and head position in real time - If it decides your eyes or head aren’t facing forward long enough, as short as 2 seconds, it flashes a visual warning and often beeps with a β€œkeep your eyes on the road” message - It also watches for eye closure ratio and head nodding It gets even worse, It can recognize up to 5 registered drivers with facial geometry. It maps distances between eyes, nose, mouth and more The last thing I would want when buying a car is a monitoring system telling me I can’t glance at the scenery This has already gone too far

Fair general tipping guidelines? - 20% for good dine-in service where server takes your order & brings your food - 10% for good takeout service or walk-up & order like Panera or Starbucks (I don't DoorDash so have no opinion/experience with that.)
