The unhinged posts from MAGA supporters are rolling in. I’m not talking about rational Republicans. I mean the ones who are so detached from reality that you think that they have to be bots.
But no, most are real people.
You can’t debate that level of absurdity. You just laugh.
US voters got it wrong in 2024, but the mid-terms give hope for change.
Trump will be livid & blame everyone but himself. His supporters will do the same and believe him when he claims the results were rigged etc.
I want to believe American voters will get it right in these midterms. But I had hoped that they would never elect Trump again, and they did. If the Republicans retain control of Congress, there will be virtually nothing left to stop Trump - which is scary for the US & the world.
Had a bowl of chocolates ready just in case we got some trick or treaters.

My son starts his ATAR exams today (final year 12 exams) and he is totally chilled about it all, whereas I am nervous and anxious for him.
ATAR does not mean what it once did, which is a good thing, but it still makes pathways into university a little easier.
You know that you are old when you look at showbags at a Royal Show and think "I can buy all of that cheaper in the supermarket".
Maybe it is because I was in family law for 25 years, but I am surprised that people in general are unaware of how often a parent lives in a different state or even country to their children. Relationships can still be developed & maintained if both parents encourage it.
