Kaylia Primal Lion Warrior 🦁

Aika's Worst Ordeal: Izanami's Torture Throughout her existence, Aika has suffered injuries that would have ended the life of almost any other being. However, when it comes to physical suffering, one particular event stands above all others: the days she spent at the mercy of Izanami, the Primordial Goddess of Chaos. Those who have been following the story for a long time may remember that Izanami captured Aika with one very specific purpose: to break her spirit and claim the sinister power dwelling within her. And this was no ordinary power. It was a corrupted Primordial Goddess capable of manifesting whenever Aika lost control of her emotions, particularly when consumed by rage or despair. By that point, Aika had already strengthened her spirit considerably and learned to keep that presence under control. She knew perfectly well that unleashing such power could endanger even the people she loved most, so she had made a firm decision never to use it again. When Izanami attempted to take that power from her, Aika showed no fear. She stood her ground and made it clear that she had no intention of giving in or willingly using that power. That was when Izanami decided to test her resolve in the cruelest way possible: through pain. If you're familiar with the story of Prometheus Bound, you might have some idea of what came next. For days, Izanami subjected Aika to unimaginable torture. She mutilated her, even going as far as removing her internal organs, and whenever Aika's body was on the verge of giving out, Izanami would restore it completely just to begin the torment all over again. There was no rest and no escape. Just the same nightmare, over and over. But Aika never gave in. Eventually, Izanami even acknowledged her resilience and praised her for such extraordinary determination. She had realized that pain, no matter how extreme, would not be enough to break Aika's will. So she decided to resort to other methods to get what she wanted. Even so, that experience left a mark that is difficult to forget. Aika survived and held on to her determination, but that doesn't mean she didn't suffer. According to her own words, it was the worst physical pain she had ever experienced in her entire existence. And perhaps the most remarkable part of this story isn't what Izanami did to her, but something much simpler: after days of unimaginable torment, Aika was still the master of her own will.
