Elektra is right on his heels as they move through the night; Marc soon guiding them both to a trail of blood that hadn’t been caused by her tonight. He tells her they’re close, and she comes to a stop only when he does — the ground covered in dark browny red stains —
Her posture isn’t defensive — not any more than it usually is, anyway. She always holds herself tense, ready to move in a second, ready to fight. But she’d managed to relax, just a little, up here, and his presence hadn’t changed that.
