I accepted a new position working with students who are capable of improving math scores with a more intense class. We told the selected students. I will never forget the one girl whispering over and over "I'm not stupid. I knew it." It was heartbreaking.

Talked about the Salem witch trials, and a student asked, innocently, if I helped witches escaped. First Pompeii, now this. Maybe I need some @aveda hair coloring. On the other hand, he didn't ask if I was a witch.

I wish these would disappear from my feed. I'd order some, but they only have t-shirts. I could wear sweatshirts on Fridays. I can't wear t-shirts, and I detest them.
I wish your jumpers and some of the skirts were longer, at least knee length. I teach, and they would be so fun to wear to work, but are simply not appropriate at the shorter lengths. Perhaps offer 2 lengths? Also, several friends LOVE them, but need larger sizes. Thank-you,
I think I am old. A man at church didn't know that Angels in the Outfield, the 90's version he knew was a remake of the 1951 movie, set in Pittsburgh. Or that The Money Pit was a Cary Grant remake. Those movies were before me too, I just learned that the older movies were better

Discussing Pompeii today, and a student asked me how I escaped. And, not nastily. He innocently asked after I explained the casts of victims. Have to say, I look good for my age.
I'm happy they are ion school, but 3 students, middle school, showed up in PJs. One, a plaid set, one rompers, and on just the standard flannel solid color PJ's, complete with slippers. Parenting. School success is dependent on parenting.
Yeah, these are the Cleveland Indians that I follow and love. Apparently, even the angels in the outfield have fled.
