Advancing undersea superiority starts with understanding the mission and the people who carry it out. Next week, General Dynamics Mission Systems will join Navy leadership, submariners, and industry partners at the Naval Submarine League Annual Symposium & Industry Update. We look forward to connecting, exchanging insights, and discussing the U.S. Submarine Force's evolving needs. From maritime autonomy and distributed undersea networks to combat control systems, torpedoes, and strategic deterrence modernization, we deliver advanced technologies and mission-critical capabilities that help make platforms smarter and support an integrated, networked, and secure all-domain force. Visit us at booth #810 to meet the team and explore how we’re supporting today’s submariners and tomorrow’s undersea missions

𝐍𝐄𝐖𝐒 𝐑𝐄𝐋𝐄𝐀𝐒𝐄 // 𝐐𝐮𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐲, 𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐬. – General Dynamics Mission Systems announced today that it was awarded a $15 million contract modification to exercise options under a previously awarded contract for the Mining Expendable Delivery Unmanned Submarine Asset (MEDUSA). Building on the prototype, software and engineering work advanced under the July contract modification, this follow-on award continues MEDUSA's maturation and expands the program’s support infrastructure. MEDUSA is an advanced, submarine-launched delivery system that uses an expendable unmanned underwater vehicle (UUV) to deploy diverse payloads with precision. Purpose-built to meet the U.S. Navy's requirements for long-range offensive mining capability, the system offers flexibility to host additional payloads across a range of maritime missions. “This contract modification sustains the momentum behind MEDUSA as the Navy advances its undersea capabilities,” said Laura Hooks, vice president and general manager of the Maritime and Strategic Systems business at General Dynamics Mission Systems. “Our team is focused on maturing the prototype systems and applying proven undersea engineering to deliver a reliable, flexible capability for the fleet. MEDUSA reflects General Dynamics’ commitment to giving Navy operators more options in the undersea domain,” continued Hooks. Read the full news release here: gdms.news/47VmUkB

Some of our veterans come home to a very different life than the one they left. After months or even years of medical treatment for serious service-connected injuries, they find themselves facing a world that has moved on — while their own path forward is steeper, harder, and lonelier than most people realize. That is where you come in. Every dollar donated to the Sentinels of Freedom Scholarship Fund will be matched by General Dynamics Mission Systems, up to fifty thousand dollars. Your gift does not just help one veteran — it helps build a future where more severely wounded veterans can focus on their education, their independence, and their place back in the communities they love, like Laniece Bell, Specialist, U.S. Army Bachelor's degree in Sociology at Holy Name University. 𝐍𝐄𝐖𝐒 𝐑𝐄𝐋𝐄𝐀𝐒𝐄 // 𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐍𝐓𝐈𝐋𝐋𝐘, 𝐕𝐀 – General Dynamics Mission Systems announced it was awarded a $99 million firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for commercial technology offerings. The contract was awarded by the U.S. Army in late-September. The Kestrel Airspace Command and Control software capability delivers services and user workflows to meet the U.S. Army's Next Generation Command and Control (NGC2) airspace and mission planning needs. Kestrel is a hardware agnostic, containerized software solution for simple integration into larger cloud-based capabilities or organically run on unit-provided hardware. “The modern battlefield brings aircraft, uncrewed systems, fires and air defense into increasingly complex airspace,” said Rachel Oberc, vice president, General Dynamics Mission Systems. “Kestrel unifies mission planning and airspace command and control, helping operators coordinate faster and adapt as conditions change. We are committed to delivering operationally ready, adaptable capabilities that advance the Army's NGC2 vision while keeping pace with evolving technology and mission needs.” Read the full news release here: gdms.news/4yLC86N

𝐍𝐄𝐖𝐒 𝐑𝐄𝐋𝐄𝐀𝐒𝐄 // 𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐍𝐓𝐈𝐋𝐋𝐘, 𝐕𝐀 – General Dynamics Mission Systems announced today it has been awarded a U.S. Army contract to deliver the Radio Delivery Effects Platform-Portable (RDEP-P) 2.0 capability. The effort will leverage the General Dynamics Mission Systems Rampart 10 chassis, built and delivered for the C5ISR/EW Modular Open Suite of Standards (CMOSS) Mounted Form Factor (CMFF) program, as the core system for a ruggedized, modular platform supporting Army cyber and electronic warfare missions. RDEP-P 2.0 will serve as a critical host for integrating future cyber electromagnetic activities capabilities and software-centric modular mission payloads at the tactical edge.
