Stick a hand into this honeypot of whimsical poetry by the un-bee-lievably talented Charlotte Kerr. 🐝🍯🏝️🅱️ Buzz over to the site now! goingdownswinging.org.au/arc…
A diagram of nine bees and other insects. Text reads: You wake to roam the Kefalonian olive groves. You are no God, though you drank the nectar. Thousands of bees hover around you like stars, frozen and silent. You spin round and round. By Charlotte Kerr.

The latest online, a piece of fiction by the talented Sharleigh Crittenden about dysfunctional family and letting go. 🔥🔥Read it here: goingdownswinging.org.au/arc…
The background shows a painting of a forest on fire. Abstract, spiky shapes overlap the image in pinks and reds. Text reads: Where was I? Dead mother. The family–yes. Except it's more a reconstruction of them (a painting? A kind of family portrait?). Let me begin again. By Sharleigh Crittenden.

New non-fiction up on the site by the inimitable Daniel Ray. A home run piece of writing about queerness, softball, and the unfolding of the self ⚾️🏃🏟️ Read it here: goingdownswinging.org.au/arc…
An Image of a baseball in motion, mid-swing and shot in black and white. Text reads: Something almost holy happens to the body during sport. It’s the same thing that happens during good sex or when you’re gliding on the knife-edge of the perfect high: when your body recedes into the draped curtains of the world or else steps forward to where everything is brighter, more solid... by Daniel Ray
