Another big running back deal: three-time Pro-Bowl RB Jonathan Taylor and the Colts reached agreement today on a two-year, $44 million extension worth up to $47 million that includes $39 million guaranteed, per @rapsheet and me.
Taylor’s agent Malki Kawa of @FirstRoundMgmt and the Colts now have finalized the deal, giving Taylor the largest third contract any running back has received.

Talked to multiple teams recently that have mentioned Mellott as a potential Julien Edelman-type conversion project. Expect to hear his name called in the 6th or 7th round.
Former Montana State QB Tommy Mellott visited the #Bengals today after working out last week for the #Cowboys.
The Walter Payton Award winner, Mellott also did WR and PR drills at his pro day. The #Commanders plan to work him out next week in Bozeman.

One of my favorite experiences while reporting in Butte was asking Kelvin Sampson a couple of questions at his media availability prior to the 2024 Sweet 16.
Kelvin was so excited to talk about his time @MTechHoops and was very kind. Go Cougs tonight.

They just piped @JoshMNBCMT into Sampson's press conference. Josh and Sampson discussed the weather in Butte, and then Sampson's time at Montana Tech.
Yes please.
