Sense and Sensibility - I am not a fan of this type of movie but I must admit… I really liked this one. Took me a bit to get into but I was eventually quite invested in everyone going on. The characters had depth, there’s emotion, it’s well acted, it’s beautifully shot. 7.5/10

Lame. I’m so tired of “grounded” Batman.

31 Days of Horror Recommendations Day 1 The Skeleton Key (2005) - The most underrated horror movie ever. It takes its time but the ending is a real knock out. The second viewing is completely different than the first as you realize just how perfectly everything was set up.

31 Days of Horror Recommendations Day 28 Event Horizon - The best non Alien space horror movie. Relying much more on psychological dread, it’s highly effective. There’s a few seconds long scene that adds weight and brings the stakes. And the entire premise is just awesome.

31 Days of Horror Recommendations Day 29 Day of the Dead - Easily George A Romero’s best movie. Great story, I love how mean spirited it can be and the practical effects are phenomenal. I loved the setting and world building. Just one of the best zombie movies ever.

He’s forever known for playing Jean-Luc Picard and Charles Xavier, whom he “admired for their morality, for their kindness, for their sensitivity, for their compassion.”

Season 1 was great. Ella Purnell is my favorite actress right now and she’s amazing in it. I can’t wait for season 2.

This is the most embarrassing shit. Just absolutely humiliating for James Gunn. A new universe should be a full on reboot. No ands, ifs, or buts.

Dang, I was really hoping to see Parker Finn complete his trilogy. David is a solid replacement but I’m still disappointed.

Of course I prefer Danny Elfmans score but I actually thought the score in Brand New Day was a noticeable improvement over the other 3 movies.

This scene and the 20 minutes leading up to it is the most emotion I’ve felt while watching a movie this year. Just a truly terrific and powerful film that deserved so much better.
