Greater Glasgow Premier AFL

Result; Campsie 3 - 3 Neilston The ammies battled out a 3-3 draw with Campsie in a game that they were disappointed not to hold on to win. Neilston got off to the worst possible start as they were 2-0 down within the first 10 min. The first came from an excellent mazy run from the Campsie winger who finished into the bottom corner, the 2nd came soon after from a defensive mix up. Lewis pulled a goal back at around the 20 minute mark with a great take on the chest, turn and volley that took a deflection off the Campsie defender. Neilston took a lift from this and got a deserved equaliser just before ht. Max looped a controlled header over the Campsie keeper. Neilston almost got off to the best possible start in the 2nd half when Shay was clipped just before he was going to knock the ball into the net after a mix up between the Campsie keeper and defender. Unfortunately the resulting penalty was wide of the target. Then came a bit of real quality in the match when Max picked up a pass from Lewis and chipped the Campsie keeper from 40yards. The keeper might have had a chance of getting it if he wasn't talking so much pish, but he got nowhere near it. Neilston ran out of steam and Campsie scored a well worked equaliser with 5min to go. The final whistle was blown then I witnessed one of the biggest shitebag moments I've ever seen on a football pitch in all my years involved in football by the Campsie sub. I'll leave it at that. It ruined a good competitive game of football. ⚽L.Chatham ⚽⚽M.Anderson 🅰️S.Fox 🅰️D.King 🅰️L.Chatham MOTM - N.Duncan and M.Anderson @GGPAFL @scottish_aff @L1veAtTheAmmys @FixtureFinScot
