My hot take on Georgia Southern this season: I think we beat Clemson. My case: -Clemson’s been trending downwards -Similar schedule set up to 2022 (FCS, P4, G6 Alabama team) -KVT played Nebraska at Buffalo in 2021, MJ played Clemson in 2025 -sandwiched between LSU & UNC for CU.

You spend every coaching vacancy on senior analysts and graduate assistants instead of targeting successful coaches at winning programs across G6 and FCS and what does that get you? It gets a special teams unit that doesn’t pay attention to whether a fair catch has been signaled

I’ll just say I’ve watched football a pretty long time. I’m of course going to let it play out but I can more or less tell the trajectory of this team. I was hoping for a clear sign of a better team vs last year. I see it on defense, haven’t seen it on offense yet.

Not nice. Barring some kind of wild NC State-Vanderbilt finish, ULM is going to lose to Southeastern Louisiana, snapping the Sun Belt's 5-year, 69-game streak of wins over FCS opponents. Only the Big 12 had more seasons without a FCS loss.
