It looks like pavlovia.org is down for a lot of folks. Anyone looking into it yet? discourse.psychopy.org/t/pav…
Looking for folks who #stutter #stammer to take part in an online study! It'll take ~1.5 hrs over Zoom and we'll pay you $20/hr. You can be from anywhere as long as you learned English under the age of 2 and don't mind us mailing you a US check :) tinyurl.com/UWquills
Hey #AcademicTwitter! What tools are you using to manage your (small) lab? My ideal would involve checklists/to-dos, team and individual communication, and maybe some document storage -- oh and free, with searchable messages forever (this gets me on slack). Too demanding???

So excited that this is out! I encourage you to read it in full, but some interesting points below (1/6)
Now out: our first @ox_bold paper! This #RegisteredReport examines functional neural activity for verb generation in children with #devlangdis. With @kateewatkins @deevybee @stat_PT @mairead_healy9 @hhharriettt @hannaxwillis @GabeCler S. Asaridou doi.org/10.1016/j.neuroimage…
This paper included 50 children with DLD, 67 typically-developing children, and a 24 children with a history of language problems who did not meet criteria for DLD. Some analyses included this group to look at continuous measures of language skill and brain activity (5/6)
Takeaway: differences in brain activity may be indicative that someone is struggling with the task, rather than fundamentally using different networks or always has higher activity. More exciting work involving this cohort is on the horizon! Keep up with us at @ox_bold (6/6)

I know this definitely isn’t the most pressing issue facing the country in the next 4 years, but as a person who stutters I wanted to share some thoughts about Biden’s speech and the way it’s talked about. A thread! 🗣
