92 yr old Federal Judge Alvin K Hellerstein has died according to SDNY District Court Exec. Edward Friedland.
He had been on the federal bench since 1998.
Hellerstein was presiding over the Maduro case which will now be assigned to another judge a court spokesperson says.
BOP confirms Sean Combs has been transferred from NJ to PA -FCI Allenwood Low
They add: “For privacy, safety, and security reasons, we do not discuss the conditions of confinement for any individual in our custody, including reasons for transfer.”
